He is a poor leader, I don't know whether he is a racist or not. That is not the issue. The issue is whether he is fit to be a Majority Leader. His handling of this issue clearly shows he is not qualified to be Majority Leader.

As for this weak line "It is for the people of Mississippi to decide", what a crock. We all have the duty to stand for the Truth and Justice and if Lott is Evil we should be CALLING for his resignation. We all did it with the Congressman from California that MAY have had something to do with a woman's disappearance.

If as the Left is saying Lott is a Racist then he IS evil and we ALL should be calling for his resignation as a Senator.

If he is not a Racist and his statements were about States Rights then we should NOT be using the Left Accusations as a motor to push our agenda of getting a new Majority Leader.

We should be fighting the left and is race baiting, anti-States Right agenda. We choose our Majority Leader through a vote of our representatives, not through fain indignation and lies.

And IF you believe his statements were racist and you won't call for his complete resignation from the senate you are a hypocrite and scum. Just like the democrats who said Clinton was wrong but would not impeach.
