[history]
"Stevie" isn't like other 5-year-old boys. While his peers are into karate and video games, Stevie tiptoes around the house like a ballerina and plays with Barbie dolls. His favorite colors are pink and red.
The psychiatric world calls this behavior sex nonconformity or sex confusion.

What do you care what someone does with the person they love? There are 850,000-950,000 Americans living with HIV/AIDS in the United States , and an estimated 40,000 new HIV infections occur each year. The costs of medications for a HIV/AIDS patient range from $12,000-$20,000 per patient per year.
Let me help you with the math; that's $10 billion - $18 billion a year, or about $60 - $100 a year for every adult American. If we pay for it, we get to have a say.

So anyone who's gay, then turns straight, must really just have been bi in the first place, because change is just not possible. What a pathetically low opinion of the human race you have.

I don't see you condeming heterosexuals over the activities of a few. That's because not all heterosexual behavior is wrong (and we do condemn that which is) whereas all homosexual behavior is wrong.

Because we know that it was been the misuse of the word that has lead to the insertion of the new definition for gender (I, for one, happen to reject it). You embrace much of the modern world, I see.
Cheerleader.

Ah. Merriam-Webster is wrong, you are right.
Are you sure you're a former lib?

2 a : SEX b : the behavioral, cultural, or psychological traits typically associated with one sex.
First you claimed that you misrepresented Merriam-Webster because the word "gender" has been misused in your opinion. Now you prove that you don't actually know how to read a dictionary.
With friends like you, the ex-gay movement doesn't need enemies.

You avoided my question - is it love which urges a large proportion of homosexuals to engage in (not JUST fantasize about) the disgusting and dangerous kinds of activities, a few of which I mentioned? Is that love?
Also, the fact that there is tons of disgusting sick hetero porno out there just means that sick obsession exists among heterosexuals as well as homos. That's not love either.
BUT - the fact remains that homosexual behavior is noted for the above-mentioned unhealthy acts, AND are noted for EXTREME promiscuity.
Additionally, many times when people speak of "love" they mean temporary lustful attraction. Real love has nothing to do with a short lived sexual escapade, with any kind of paricipants.

Now you prove that you don't actually know how to read a dictionary. And you prove that you can't understand what you read! It does not describe the physical sex, doof.

Are you really this stupid or are you just a troll?

Intrusive government makes us pay for other people's mistakes. The correct solution to this problem is to abolish publicly funded health care, not to make the state even more intrusive.

The fact that she's COMPLAINING about labeling based on actions, even though that is exactly what the Nicolosis and NARTH are doing, is not only an indicator of the inconsistency that plagues the "ex-gay" industry, it is also a delicious irony. There's a distinction between what Nicolosis is doing and what the pro-homosexual groups are doing. Nicolosis maintains there are recognizable characteristics that manifest in children who are "heading" toward homosexuality. He is objecting to people who tell a child he/she is a homosexual based on those same recognizable characteristics. The child will believe the diagnosis of adults and "accept" his/her homosexuality.
Nicolosis believes there are things that can be done to prevent the progression of homosexuality in the child.

Oh, I get it all right. I know the difference between a noun and a verb. I also know how to use the Merriam-Webster site, and realize that the entry to which we are both referring to is the entry for the noun gender, not the verb. This is why the example given for definition 2a, sex, is "the feminine gender".
Hmmmm... ignorant or simply too embarassed to admit you're wrong? I'm going to go for a combination of both.

It does not describe the physical sex, which is how you used it. Lose the bluster, chum, you're dead in the water.

Nicolosis believes there are things that can be done to prevent the progression of homosexuality in the child. And he is being proven correct and that is what puts these people into a major league hissy fit!
