TALK: The Clash of Civilisations
uploaded 10 Dec 2002
The clash of civilisations is an inevitable matter. It existed in the past, exists now and will remain until the clash ends shortly before the Hour, since it does not come except upon the worst of creation. The Capitalist Western civilisation has knocked the Muslims down militarily, politically and economically; however they will never defeat the Muslims intellectually.
Our aqeedah is imposible to defeat; and it remains alive in our souls, except that some concepts of our civilisation coming out from our aqeedah have been afflicted with some contamination and some dust has struck them. So work to purify them and shake the dust away from it by returning to the Book and Sunnah. Know, that the ultimate triumph and victory is for Islam and Muslims. This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us in definite reports (akhbar qat'iyya), so be confident in the good promise of Allah.
Work to appoint your Khaleefah, and establish your community (jamaah) over one man from among you so as he makes the preparations, unifies the Ummah, terrifies the enemy, protects the territories, deals with the citizens justly, distributes equally, and Allah makes at his hands this deen dominant over all other deens, even if the polytheists detest it.

Intellectually? Why do they think they're so down in all the other areas? It's clearly rocket science to them.
Intellectually?

In recognition of this truth, Christians follow, albeit imperfectly as all human things are imperfect, a practice of religious toleration. We don't proclaim an inevitable victory over other faiths, no matter how wrongheaded we think them to be. Christ is not a boxing champion, who intends to take on all comers and knock them out. Each of us must find Him for himself.
Compare and contrast to Islam, the ideology of totalitarian domination and world conquest that masquerades as a religion -- of peace, no less.
