President Bush began his day with a phone call to Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen. He also had his daily intelligence and FBI briefings before he met with Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of Interior and the Chairman of his Council on Environmental Quality to announce a new initiative to reduce the threat of wildfire in the western states. Oh, and Bush taped an interview with Barbara Walters that will air on 20/20 Friday night. During that interview, the President said he would support a voluntary vaccination against small pox. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Great pic, my FRiend...but it is eerily reminiscent of how Dubyuh looked minutes before he found out about the first WTC plane attack...MUD

See there, if Dubyuh had his hand on Laura's butt, that could be me and the Missuz...MUD Well, that's where he's got his hand in this pic........he does that a lot, but works pretty hard not to do it when being photographed! LOL!

COMPARATIVE DATA on CLINTON
[CNN/USAToday/Gallup]
Clinton's (supposedly) "popular" second term:
1997:
8 Gallup Polls -- 6 polls in the 50s//2 polls in low 60s (60% and 62%)
1998: [Clinton's BEST Year -- with polls that is!]
13 polls -- Hit 70% twice (Aug/Dec)//11 times achieved scores between 62% and 69% [Still WELL below GWB's average for 2002]
1999:
8 polls -- Hit 68% once; the other 7 polls ranged between 58% and 61%
[NOTE: Clinton's approval ratings were determined to be MUCH lower by other polling organizations, e.g., Newsweek, Pew, and Zogby. According to Zogby, Clinton only received a 61% Excellent/Good score TWICE in THREE years. His typical scores ranged from the highs 40s to mid 50s]
BOTTOMLINE: As long as the President can maintain a 60- 30-10 approval:disapproval:don't know ratio he'll be WELL ahead of the norm for modern presidents and in a position of great political power!!!!

Sometimes he has to catch himself when his hand starts dropping, I've noticed.

I got a chuckle out of this one....

The truth? I kinda regret the top ten thing for tomorrow. I'm going to be busy at work and I don't *want* to judge again. I worry that one makes 1 friend and 20 enemies at the end of those threads and plus they're all so clever they make it *hard* to pick a favorite. My solution? I'll be back in the mood by the weekend, I suppose, so I'm just going to make it very clear in the thread that we're not judging it quickly. That sound OK?

I wonder if he behaved at the Barbara Walters interview?I noticed there was no fake snow beneath the tree like there was last year. Remember when Barney stuck his face in the snow and came away with flakes in his 'beard'? It was SO cute! I want to see all the different bird ornaments; what a lovely idea!
