Well, William Randolph Hearst's actress mistress, Marion Davies, pawned her jewels to save his newspaper empire when he was on the verge of going bust.

Maybe Jane Fonda will come to Ted's rescue. She's the humanitarian type, ya know (with our money, of course).

My guess is that Ms. Fonda will be off doing a Barbarella dance on some remote Greek island rocky beach when Teddy is hustled off in a strait-jacket to some debtor's gaol or the funny farm.

Fonda is Turner's wife. However I understand that he has a string of mistresses who might wish make the same sacrifice that Davies did for Hearst. I personally would advice Fonda to hang onto her jewels and other valuables.
