Trent Lott may have done the GOP a favor with his stupid remarks. Maybe we can get somebody with real leadership into his position. We need to make the Democrats pay for this by giving them a new face as Senate Majority Leader who is tough and won't wimp out Lott-style. It should be a "be careful what you ask for - you may get it" kind of a lesson.
Yikes: Do we have a candidate?

Who would want this in a leadership role in the Senate?

YES I agree.... give a man enough rope to hang himself... no pun intended.

It should be a "be careful what you ask for - you may get it" kind of a lesson. Quite right -- the entire party needs to learn from Pres. Bush's very successful approach. Remember the rat screaming about letting Congress vote on Iraq?
