Unlike the democratic party Republicans are allowed to disagree with the party appartik. Just because AFE thinks that Lott has squandered his Leadership with unumaginable stupidity is not a reason to suspect that AFE is a commie rat democrat.

Frankly if Lott is such a baby that if he can't be Senate Majority Leader, then he won't even play Senator, then it is Lott who is the commie rat democrat, because Lott is willing to sacrifice the Republican Senate Majority over his bruised ego. That, my friend is not only stupid, it is EVIL. If Lott were to do that his name would be mud along with Jim Jeffords and Benedict Arnold. We might even replace the name of Clymer with Lott when refering to a certain part of the anatomy.

Lott should take this opportunity to turn the reigns over to someone who still has a few grey cells in his cranium. Lott no longer qualifies in that category. For the good of the Nation, the good of the party and the good of his own name he should step aside as Majority Leader, but remain in the Senate.

Are you implying that I don't want PBA legislation to pass? If I were a single issue voter, that would be my issue. Lott isn't the only Republican that can get it done, and he certainly isn't the most capable of getting it done. That was his first, reflexive (1st Russert show after Nov. 5th) bone to conservatives that neither like nor trust him.
