What a joke not even a mention of Christ. GWB is way to concerned what people the PC world thinks. Yea, I'll bet Jesus is really pissed at 'ol GW.
Bet Jesus would have given these folks what-for back when he walked the Earth for not making his birthday a main event.
I think you miss the point.
GW lives it. He doesn't need to broadcast it to make it known. He's not a "Jesus spokesman", he is a walking, living Christian, not a frikkin billboard. Can someone walk up to you and say "I know you're a Christian by how you live your life" as they do to GW?

If they were being PC they wouldn't have quoted a bible verse. Jeeeeeezzz.

My card (also mailed from Crawford with a flag stamp)has a quotation from the Bible--
FOR THE LORD IS GOOD; HIS MERCY IS EVERLASTING;AND HIS TRUTH ENDURETH TO ALL GENERATIONS. --PSALM 100:5
Does NY Catholic have a problem with that?
To: NY Catholic
Evidently you missed the bible verse on the card - Psalm 100:5.

That's a very cold Christmas card. A cold marble floor, a grand piano and bench, a sideboard table, a bouquet of flowers, a couple of candelabras, a window, a door, some curtains, a mirror -- what does ANY of that have to do with Christmas or any other holiday? It's generic to the point of being a nondescript nonentity. Even the psalm is generic. The only thing vaguely specific (ha!) is the mention of the holiday season. However, it could just as easily be used for any other "holiday". Yes, a very cold card.

I received mine last Thursday and was quite surprised by the ugly, non-CHRISTMAS like picture on the cover. It was in very poor taste to send such a SECULAR Card. I have to find mine from last year which I am sure was much nicer. I will probably discard this one, it's not worth saving. Let's keep CHRIST IN CHIRSTmas, obviously Bushy did not. There should have been a quote from the New Testament.
And what was so Christian-like by appointing 5 PRO ABORTION JUDGES IN NJ, Sounds more Satan Like to me. Bush is now a proud member of Herod's heroes....

Did you know that Bush 41, while a Congressman, was one of the primary authors of the Title X (funds planned parenthood and sexual health clinics in high schools) appropriation Bill? and his nickname among his peers was "rubbers"?

Who do you think the Lord is in the verse from Psalms? That is Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Grand Piano for our Lords Birth? What a joke not even a mention of Christ. GWB is way to concerned what people the PC world thinks. The name of Jesus was not spoken one time last Christmas and this one looks like a repeat..a "safe Psalm" and a "Happy Holiday" the bone thrown to the "religious right"

Did you hear the President at the Christmas tree lighting? Did you hear him last night at Christmas in Washington?
He talked about how the birth in Bethlehem changed and brought hope to the world, or words to that effect.
How specific does he have to get to convince you of his faith?
He is a deeply committed Christian and he and Laura sent a beautiful card.

You'll notice that for Ramadan Bush was very specific and detailed about the fundamentals of Islam. He went so far as talking about the pillars, Allah, etc, etc.
Guess all that language about Christ during his campaign was so much bull....
