If they aren't Christians, why would you send them a Christmas card?

I saw a card today that had on the front a lion and a lamb. Inside, it said, "In this season of joy we wish you love."

I suppose this one doesn't count, either. Be sure you write Hallmark.

When in doubt, don't send religious greetings to people who aren't believers in that religion.

I know the RNC didn't ask me what religion I am.

Why would they care? They are looking for power, not adherents to religions.

But like I said, it wasn't a Christmas card anyway, it was a "seasons greetings" card. Kinda like what politicions always do, appear to be saying something while saying nothing.

Christmas is a National Holiday just like Thanksgiving and Independence Day, celebrated by all.

To equate a celebration of the birth of the savior to Independence day is to fundamentally misunderstand Christianity.

Yeah, we have the same issue where I work. We are a company based on Christian values, and state as much in many of our works. But when we send out cards, the cards get the generic Happy Holidays message.

Christmas is indeed a National Holiday promulgated by the US Congress, yes, you can fly your flag on Christmas Day, but obviously, you were not educated in US Schools because you would have known this, so what flag to you fly, USSR's China's. Actions speak louder than words and by Bushy's actions in NJ by appointing 5 pro-abortion (not even one pro life!!) judges in NJ is a lousy testament to a so-called pro life president which he is not. It was he who, on National Televison, stated that Jesus Christ was the most influential person in his life, and it was Bush who stated that he was Pro-life at the Republican National Convention. And when he doesn't act pro life, people like me will be there to repudiate him and to help him change his ways. As I stated before I will work from within the party to change their evil ways. Bush is now one of Herod's Heroes. Shame on him.

Yes, on the inside of the card it states HOLIDAY SEASON, and not CHRISTmas.

I am confused since he was the man who stated on a TV interview that Jesus Christ was the most influential person in his life!! And now he is afraid to put his name on a CHRISTmas Card. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Hey! I just checked my VERY Christmas cards (yes, I know, they SHOULD be sent by now....)...and the word CHRISTMAS appears NO WHERE. No Christmas trees. No manger. No star. No nothin'.....

Christmas is a NATIONAL HOLIDAY!!! Yes, even for atheists. Actually, if you want to get down to it, Bush is being Anti -American by NOT mentioning Christmas, a NATIONAL HOLIDAY.

It's an ugly card with no mention of Christmas. Before this post was started I showed my family this card and we all agreed it was ugly and in poor taste and not a Christmas card. It was he, George Bush, who stated that Jesus was the most influential person in his life on TV during an interview before the election. He hasn't proven it by me. Christmas is not anti Jew, not anti Muslim or anti Atheist, others make it out to be.

Some people on this thread started to bash ny catholic from her innocuous comment about the card and the tone on the thread changed to become a Catholic Bashing and Anti-Bush thread. It was to be neither..It was just and ugly card with no mention of Christmas, a National Holiday.
