Having built her rapport with the audience on a foundation of ethnic jokes and terror
What a bald-faced lie. From mercuria's transcript:
When I was in Houston, I met an Ethiopian taxi driver. He came here legally, he had an advanced math degree, but he was willing to do that job nobody else wanted to do. And we were talking because he asked me what I was doing, what kind of business I was doing, and I talked about my book. He was very enthusiastic about it. And actually, he talked about how he was really annoyed with other people from his country who come here and don't speak our language, and he said, "I don't understand what they're doing here. It's like they don't want to be an American!"
Now, I've heard that same refrain wherever I've gone. I'm not making this up. When I was in Palm Beach, Florida, I met a guy at my hotel who was Swedish. I mean he said the same thing. There is a huge Swedish population, apparently, in Palm Beach. Eleven thousand. And when new Swedish emigres come here legally, they settle in this part of Palm Beach, and it's sort of like the ghetto. I mean, it's Balkanized, everybody speaks Swedish and stays with their favorite Swedish customs and families, and after a couple of weeks, after he arrived here, some 13-14 years ago, he said, "They don't want to be American. I want to be an American!" This Swedish guy!
These are ethnic jokes? This is a classic liberal reporting trick - fabricate a lie to influence the intended readership. Even if someone researches the details and provides the truth later, the impression has already been set and the target slimed.
Thats the last thing I'd advise you do.
Nothing good ever comes from a walking talking anus. That goes double for a race baiting leftwing one.
Is there a way to contact this walking, talking Anus Gustavo Arellano? He does not seem to rate his own e-mail address, but from http://www.ocweekly.com/about/:

So thanks again for the Michelle Malkin alert
**I** posted a link on MY thread to this one, and **I** asked the Admin Moderator to lock my thread.FWIW.
You are correct, though. MANY here get insulted easily, so I prefer SELF-correction. :o)
All it does is to get the emotionally-vested poster to flame you, and the AdminMods don't appear to give a damn anyway.
I am NOT emotionally invested!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, RonDog, I beat you by five minutes, not four.
Burn. I'm faster, and better at math.
... he says, with no fewer than TEN (10) exclamation points! <|:)~
*This came completely out of left field, and was never followed up. Obviously, Malkin has never said any such thing.
IIRC, couple of the 9/11 hijackers boarded their planes with fake ID purchased from Illegals. It's in her book.
That's a far cry from blaming "Latino day laborers".
Back in college I was living in a house with two guys and two girls. We were all in our early to mid 20s, except for one girl who was 19.
One night she brought a guy home from a party. After he left the next day, she complained that she had been nice enough to let him sleep on the floor in her bedroom, but he kept trying to climb into bed with her all night, and what was he thinking anyway?!
A couple of us pointed out that while the guy should have gotten the hint, she set herself up with an unrealistic expectation that he wouldn't expect sex in the first place.
She didn't get it, so we suggested that she trust the few extra years we had on her in that regard.
She raised her voice and asked, "are you guys saying I'm immature?!" With a great stomp of her foot, she proclaimed, "I am SO mature!!" and stormed from the room.
You'll get no disagreement from me.
On the other hand, it's also a far cry from saying that 9/11 had nothing to do with the greater problem of Illegal Aliens in general.
In part, the terrorists were able to exploit the black market and security lapses precipitated by the presence of millions of Illegals.
