We are all waiting with bated breath for Paul Atreides to arrive and take a bow...Perhaps he is still in class.

How are things in New Zealand? Do you celebrate Christmas American style or do you have special New Zealand traditions?

Happy Holidays!
Let it Snow!

At last, someone picked up on DUNE. There must be zillions of Dune fans out there (at last we hear from one) and isn't that a great screen name..

Thank you...

"Take It to the Senate!!"
(To be sung to the Eagles' "Take It To The Limit")

Willie moans as he dreams 'bout Lewinsky...
While his "bright" wife's still playing The Fool.
Slick keeps lying about "those women" he's used...used like his tools!!
You know Bill's always been a creeper...spent his life sleepin' 'round...
And it's so hard to change...Lib'rals like to go down!
But these crimes we've seen lately...
Slick's a Whore fer Power, tearin' FReedoms down and sellin' out to Beijing!!

So join me on the high road and tell Slick, "It's Time!!!"
Take it to the Senate, RE-Impeach RAT's Slime!

Bill just spends all his time hustlin' money.
Willie spends all his Power hiding crimes.
When it all falls to pieces tomorrow,
Slick'll do Prison Time!!

I know y'all're searchin' for a reason...why nobody seems to care...
That EX-Prez'dent's a Whore...Left loves their Miscreants!!
Still, this Country's worth retrievin'...
Right'll come storming back, we're on the attack, next time, we'll whup RATS more!!

So join me on the high road...Slick shouldda Resigned!!
Take it to the Senate...Convict RAT's Slime!!

Take it to the Senate...RE-Impeach Bill Clinton...
Take it to the Senate, it's Justice Time...

(Chorus to fade)

MUDBOY SLIM

RE-IMPEACH. CONVICT. DETHRONE. DISBAR. DE-PENSION. INDICT. CONVICT. IMPRISON. DISCARD KEY.
It's that simple, folks, and it starts with you...MUD

,,, thanx for the warm welcomes. Well, Christmas in New Zealand is somewhat different from yours because we're at the height of suumer. We've worked out in recent years that the sacrificial turkey is better in June, July or August when it's skiing weather here, so the mid-winter Christmas deal is quite common here now. We usually have chicken, lamb, pork and ham with salads and sit around in t-shirts and shorts sipping G&Ts. Once the food is settled in our tummies, if the weather's hot enough, we walk to the beach and go for a swim. We listen to Christmas carols and unwrap our presents that have wrapping on them detailing sleighs and snow etc. but it's way out of context.

We have native trees called Pohutukawas that are most commonly found in coastal areas. They have beautiful red bottle brush type flowers. They're synonymous with summer in New Zealand and are known as the Maori Christmas Tree.

Hi, Lori - did your company leave today?

They left yesterday afternoon. It is so quiet around here now. I love having holiday guests. To me, that is a big part of what the holidays are about. I never want to be too busy for family and friends. But, now that they have left, I can get back to what needs to get done. :-)
