I keep meaning to buy her book, but right now I'm afraid to read it as it hits too close to home.

Things have gotten just a bit weird here in Cochise County in the past few weeks. First, the Border Patrol quietly closed and dismantled the checkpoints on the highways leading to I-10. That gives any illegals or smugglers an unimpeded shot at hitting I-10 and all points east and west.

Border Patrol vehicles also suddenly became invisible. I'm used to seeing them constantly while driving, but now I *might* see one per day.

Meanwhile, I hear the Barnett brothers are catching twice the number of illegals they were getting last year.

I can confirm this observation. They've pulled up the checkpoints in Sonoita, Whetstone, Tombstone, and Elfrida. As far as I can tell - every checkpoint in Cochise County has been dismantled.

Border Patrol vehicles also suddenly became invisible. I'm used to seeing them constantly while driving, but now I *might* see one per day.

I can also confirm this observation. I used to see Border Patrol vehicles everywhere, usually with a car or van pulled over and illegals sitting on the ground waiting to be hauled away. I passed one or two daily on my way home from work. Now, they're nowhere to be found. I did see, last Wednesday evening, large number of BP vehicles parked in a parking lot on Ft. Huachuca.

Roger Barnett himself has made this very statement. This last month they captured twice what they captured during the same month last year.
