TO SADDAM (and his sympathizers/supporters/fellow travelers):

Here is the fate that awaits you. SURRENDER NOW!

Fellow Traveler on the Highway of Death

"Highway of Death," the road from Mutlaa, Kuwait, to Basra, Iraq. U.S. planes immobilized the convoy by disabling vehicles at its front and rear, then bombing and strafing the resulting traffic jam for hours. More than 2,000 vehicles and tens of thousands of charred and dismembered bodies littered the sixty miles of highway.

Heck, I'd be willing to pony up $20 for a clandestine airdrop of pamphlets
with that image to be dropped on Baghdad and throughout Saddam-controlled Iraq.

I think a better additional caption would be
"He believed in Saddam."

This image reminds me of a creature made up by Hollywood special effects personnel. I know it's the real deal however.

According to Kenneth M. Pollack, author of "The Gathering Storm- The Case for Invading Iraq" (A Council On Foreign Relations Book), on page 45 at the beginning of the last paragraph, he states, regarding this very subject matter: "The reality was somewhat different."

I will elaborate on this post after I scan in the paragraph. Be back shortly.
