You just don't get it, do you? Oh I get it just fine.
I've had this same name for years.
Can you say the same? and if not... why not?
Best regards

You can't fool the people in a live talk radio session especially with lies because talk radio and also the Internet makes you think. There are also no visual smoke and mirrors to distract or prevent thinking. RAT rhetoric is pure lying and that is why it fails in Talk Radio. There is no conditioned Yellow Dog Pavlovian reflex in Talk Radio and also the Internet because you can counter lies with the truth immediately (call or shut it off).RATs have fooled their followers especially in the their plantations by demagogery and crying wolf. After some time, no one came to hear yellow dogs howling in the air.

TV does the work for you. You get "entertained" with no effort on your part. To enjoy radio you (A) need to have some neurons and (B) they need to be in functioning order. The synapses of a lot of people who support the leftists don't fire all that well. Too many "herbs and spices" over the years.

Yeah, I've always used the one and only name I have ever had on this board. So what's your point?

Trolls keep having to change names.

"Trolls keep having to change names."Well then since I have never changed my name on this board it would seem that your accusation has no foundation.
Like I said, you just dont get it do you.

Hey, John-Boy Leland---the Democrats "DO" have a "destruction machine", and you work for one cog of it. The Republicans have talk radio, the Democrats have the print media, television, and most university faculty. Sounds like the "propaganda advantage" STILL goes to the Democrats. What a maroon!!!!! Exactly. This author is employed by the borking, lying, deceiving, and lawyering NY Times Liberal Destruction Machine.

The liberals also own the universities, hollywood, almost all national newspapers and the mainstream TV, a huge proportion of the think tanks, most of the big philanthrophic organizations. They have a powerful nexus with the UN. They also own the grammar and high school educational systems. Well said. We have nowhere else to turn besides talk radio and the internet.

There's a third one (The Connection) that comes from Boston, MA.
I believe that all of these shows are primarily associated with "home" NPR station and then syndicated across NPR station by station. They are not directly funded by NPR as it exists in DC(?). There may be indirect funding through the network transmission of the programming and by local government funding of individual NPR stations.
It would be interesting to follow the money and see which levels of government provide what fraction (and total $) of the funding for the various shows.

I don't consider those kinds of shows real "talk radio" because politics is a secondary focus of theirs.
I'll bet their advertisers would agree. Shows like that generate huge listening audiences but rather unspectacular advertising revenue because they do so poorly among prized target audiences (professionals between the ages of 25 and 55).

The "Fairness Doctrine" by definition would be unenforceable simply because nobody would be able to define the two sides.
Suppose a radio station carried Rush Limbaugh, Gordon Liddy, Michael Savage and Sean Hannity on a typical weekday. If the "Fairness Doctrine" were in place, I'm guessing that Limbaugh and Hannity would go out tomorrow and register as Democrats, join the ACLU, join People for the American Way, etc. Then the station would have two "liberals" and two conservatives on the air, but the content of the shows would not change one bit.

Nonfat pork rinds?
Yuck. That's as appealing as no-calorie pizza.

They seem to be financially successful. I don't think this is what you meant to say.
No more could a shoe factory in the USSR
be financially successful than a program on
taxpayer funded NPR.
