Authorities say ring made drugs in Mexico, then distributed them at a Westside car lot.
Authorities cracked down on one of central Indiana's largest methamphetamine trafficking organizations Friday, arresting 25 people and searching 14 homes.
The multiagency investigation found that the organization was trafficking more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine a month out of a Westside auto dealership.

Oh, the other thread huh? You know Miss Marple, you are afraid of the facts. This is clear. What do you think? That this huge influx of Mexican people into the central Indiana area are all legal citizens?
I am confident that even you don't believe this.
Mexician immigrants in general, and it would be pretty hard NOT to see you as anti-Mexican in general.
You know, you can flash the race card any time you please. But my position is clear. I am totaly against this titanic invasion of ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Interesting that this particular crowd had their meth manufactured IN Mexico. This suggests that campaigns to destroy meth labs work! Else they'd still be doing the manufacturing in Indiana or Kentucky where it was traditionally produced.
One problem folks in Indiana have had with the meth trade is the involvement of local police in the business. It's actually unsafe, to a degree, to report this to the cops and let them know your identity. You need to report it anonymously from a payphone.
I am against illegal immigration. I always have been. What I would like to see is intelligent discussion of how to solve the problem without name-calling and vitriol. I am quite tired of reading how Mexicans have destroyed communities, crime rates, etc. The question on the table is how to control illegal immigration and at the same time allow legal immigrants into the country.
I think by now we all realize illegal immigration is not a good thing. It is not necessary to post hundreds of threads pointing this out.
When you want to discuss things in a civil manner, I will be happy to oblige. However, when you deliberately post an article on my home town and flag me to it with mocking comments, you should expect that I am not going to be polite. This is the second time you have done this.
I would point out to you that I do not search out negative articles on California to post and flag you to those articles to make fun of you.
Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could see your way to quit doing this.
Oh, and it would be really nice if you had a constructive thread once in a while.
It's NO secret, as another poster indicated, Mexico is one of the biggest producers and traffickers of illegal drugs in the entire world. And when we allow in hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, routinely, at will, the results are going to be predictable.
Of course, I am just bashing Mexicans.
Me too Missy.
I don't really see the wisdom in a program ike DARE that teaches kids that all drugs are equally bad. Pot = cocaine = heroin = meth. The kids try marijuana and say to themselves, "Hey this isn't so bad. I guess the DARE officer lied to me about it. If he lied about pot, then meth is probably not so bad eirther."
Meth is a truely evil substance, and the people who make the stuff are motivated purely by quick profits-anyone trafficking in the stuff has completely sold their soul.
I couldn't agree more.
Oh, your right. Everyone stop it NOW!
Oh, and if your interested, please note that the overall majority of threads regarding this titanic invasion of our borders, are not posted by me. I do respond to many of them though, as I believe that this open border lunacy is not only a complete national disgrace, but a huge national security threat.
Sorry the news coming out of your home town is upsetting.
I will in the future isolate you from it, by not pinging you.
It would probably be better for you to ignore it.
Almost needless to say the ACLU made sure that didn't happen again - can't have carols in public you know! I think one of my old buddies, a real leftwing nutcase lawyer named Pincus, was among the first to jump on that. I can assure you his real motive was to shut down the use of the German language in public, not the Christmas carols - they were just an excuse for him to hit the targets he preferred. Mercifully for the rest of us he is now dieing of some kind of horrendous cancer that keeps him out of public these days.
But back to the Mexicans peddling meth, this has been going on since the only Mexicans in the state lived in Gary-Hammond-East Chicago, presumably in the same neighborhoods as the Puerto Ricans, most of whom were Baptists and pentecostals. They weren't working Naptown, so who was?
Well, there were four fellows on the Eastside that I knew from way back. Reports on their activities to the Indianapolis police, or to the Sheriff's office resulted in NADA NADA NADA ("nothing" = "nada"). It wasn't until reports, with photos, were made directly to DEA folks in Washington DC that anything happened.
Jackson County presently has a similar situation where the local cops are soft on meth dealers, or are possibly in league with them. There are other places where this is true.
It's entirely possible that as long as various municipal and county police organizations in Indiana persist in turning a blind eye to the meth dealers this is going to continue into the indefinite future.
Labor cost is not the driver, material scarcity is.
