Because you bashed the law-abiding, Mexican citizens of Indianapolis in the last thread on which we were engaged, inferring that they were illegals.

Oh, the other thread huh? You know Miss Marple, you are afraid of the facts. This is clear. What do you think? That this huge influx of Mexican people into the central Indiana area are all legal citizens?

I am confident that even you don't believe this.

Mexician immigrants in general, and it would be pretty hard NOT to see you as anti-Mexican in general.

You know, you can flash the race card any time you please. But my position is clear. I am totaly against this titanic invasion of ILLEGAL ALIENS.

From what you said I'm assuming they are after the strikers then.I did find it a little strange when I saw the guy walk past us with a huge armload of book matches and a weird grin on his face.Local stores are always on the lookout for people purchasing large quantitys of over the counter cold medicines as it contains something the cooks want.I believe they limit purchases of that stuff to two bottles at one time.Any more than that and the person's license plate is recorded and turned into the authoritys. This kind of stuff is all Mickey Mouse compared to the quantitys the South of the border labs produce. All are dangerous though.

Mickey Mouse, yes, but enough to keep Mom & Pop in beer money and all their friends and family strung out!

Not every Mexican is into peddling meth. On the other hand there are, in fact, Mexicans peddling meth in Indiana and in other places.

Interesting that this particular crowd had their meth manufactured IN Mexico. This suggests that campaigns to destroy meth labs work! Else they'd still be doing the manufacturing in Indiana or Kentucky where it was traditionally produced.

One problem folks in Indiana have had with the meth trade is the involvement of local police in the business. It's actually unsafe, to a degree, to report this to the cops and let them know your identity. You need to report it anonymously from a payphone.

Joe, go back to the other thread you posted about Indianapolis and read your comments again.

I am against illegal immigration. I always have been. What I would like to see is intelligent discussion of how to solve the problem without name-calling and vitriol. I am quite tired of reading how Mexicans have destroyed communities, crime rates, etc. The question on the table is how to control illegal immigration and at the same time allow legal immigrants into the country.

I think by now we all realize illegal immigration is not a good thing. It is not necessary to post hundreds of threads pointing this out.

When you want to discuss things in a civil manner, I will be happy to oblige. However, when you deliberately post an article on my home town and flag me to it with mocking comments, you should expect that I am not going to be polite. This is the second time you have done this.

I would point out to you that I do not search out negative articles on California to post and flag you to those articles to make fun of you.

Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could see your way to quit doing this.

Oh, and it would be really nice if you had a constructive thread once in a while.

I agree. But it's bad enough for our own to be pushing this sh*t, let alone being smuggled into our country by foreign nationals! And yes, many meth labs were put out of business here in the west long ago, and now is being shipped to our home towns from foreign countries.

It's NO secret, as another poster indicated, Mexico is one of the biggest producers and traffickers of illegal drugs in the entire world. And when we allow in hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, routinely, at will, the results are going to be predictable.

Of course, I am just bashing Mexicans.

These drug networks have been around for a long while, they are just spreading into the heartland.

When I lived in Mission Viejo, CA, there were two kids living in a condo, alone, because their dad had sent them to the states to get an education and keep them safe because he was a Columbian drug lord. They were very open about it and if I knew about it, so did the school authorities. There was even a kid murdered after attending a party at their condo that went unsolved. It was on unsoved mysteries, but no one ever reported the possible connection.

It's really unfortunate US citizens don't listen to the wisdom of programs like "DARE" and anti-drug films we all get shown growing up in school.

I don't really see the wisdom in a program ike DARE that teaches kids that all drugs are equally bad. Pot = cocaine = heroin = meth. The kids try marijuana and say to themselves, "Hey this isn't so bad. I guess the DARE officer lied to me about it. If he lied about pot, then meth is probably not so bad eirther."

Meth is a truely evil substance, and the people who make the stuff are motivated purely by quick profits-anyone trafficking in the stuff has completely sold their soul.

I couldn't agree more.

Oh, your right. Everyone stop it NOW!

Oh, and if your interested, please note that the overall majority of threads regarding this titanic invasion of our borders, are not posted by me. I do respond to many of them though, as I believe that this open border lunacy is not only a complete national disgrace, but a huge national security threat.

Sorry the news coming out of your home town is upsetting.

I will in the future isolate you from it, by not pinging you.

It would probably be better for you to ignore it.

I feel an illegal alien trafficing in meth deserves some extra time for entering this country illegally and bringing poisons to boot. But I think a gringo US citizen doing the same is also in the royal scumbag classification.I hope we are not just deporting aliens doing this type of criminal activity. They deserve to do lengthy time,in this country.

I too feel "DARE" programs would be better off focusing on narcotics and I agree with much of what you are saying.I don't think pot is in the same realm as meth and drugs like that,I think young people should be taught pot can be disorienting if used too much, parents should be doing this if they are smart.

Seems to me that it wasn't that long ago that the Germans were let out of the can back in Naptown. Think that was when the Tech High School choir was allowed to sing Christmas carols in German on the Circle.

Almost needless to say the ACLU made sure that didn't happen again - can't have carols in public you know! I think one of my old buddies, a real leftwing nutcase lawyer named Pincus, was among the first to jump on that. I can assure you his real motive was to shut down the use of the German language in public, not the Christmas carols - they were just an excuse for him to hit the targets he preferred. Mercifully for the rest of us he is now dieing of some kind of horrendous cancer that keeps him out of public these days.

But back to the Mexicans peddling meth, this has been going on since the only Mexicans in the state lived in Gary-Hammond-East Chicago, presumably in the same neighborhoods as the Puerto Ricans, most of whom were Baptists and pentecostals. They weren't working Naptown, so who was?

Well, there were four fellows on the Eastside that I knew from way back. Reports on their activities to the Indianapolis police, or to the Sheriff's office resulted in NADA NADA NADA ("nothing" = "nada"). It wasn't until reports, with photos, were made directly to DEA folks in Washington DC that anything happened.

Jackson County presently has a similar situation where the local cops are soft on meth dealers, or are possibly in league with them. There are other places where this is true.

It's entirely possible that as long as various municipal and county police organizations in Indiana persist in turning a blind eye to the meth dealers this is going to continue into the indefinite future.

I wonder why they bothered to bring the drugs across the border, when Meth labs dot the New Mexico hills, not to mention the mojave desert, west Texas and a lot of places in Oklahoma. Just buy some sudafed and cook em up...

Meth is epidemic down here, and the ones I treat tend to be lilly white native born Americans...

Well, it looks like some of the trailer labs in Oklahoma and Texas are going to be up against some stiff competion. Actually, a lot of meth has been coming in from Mexico for a long time, as it's safer to make it there, and just bring in the finished product to sell. Less risk, and with the cheaper labor south of the border, it's a win win. Sometimes.

You, if so inclined, could produce half an ounce of meth in about two hours.

Labor cost is not the driver, material scarcity is.

And like I said, it's actually the reduced risk factor as to why is is being manufactured in Mexico. The product ingredients can be easily smuggled into the states and then cooked, but it's less risky to just make it in Mexico and then ship it.
