If you don't mind Seventh-day Adventists, I think someone has already mentioned Southern Adventist University at Collegedale [Chattanooga Eastside], Tennessee. Very rainy mild climate, makes especial efforts to serve homeschoolers and has many in attendance. Very international student body, many Hispanics, Asians, Africans etc. Black Americans about 8%; White Americans about 75%. Lots of jobs and fast building up though, no longer in the sticks.

There is also a new college just opened in Loudoun COunty Virginia just for homeschoolers, what is it called, Patrick Henry College? This has nothing to do with any religion. It is all white though. This is near DC, some 40 miles west of DC, but there is a big Saudi Arabian Muslim school and mosque in that county as well.

Many have mentioned Hillsdale, which is NOT in southwestern Michigan, but in south central Michigan near the corner of Indiana and Ohio.

Many have mentioned Grove City, PA, which is in NW Pa not too far south of Erie, Pa. In that area also consider "Indiana University of Pennsylvania," if you don't mind having two states on your diploma. California University of Pa also exists. Those are both middle-sized public universities.

What you do NOT tell us, is where you live now, and what climate you prefer. Big cities off limits? How cold or warm do you want to be?

Or, are there any special programs that the college needs to offer, nursing, premed, prelaw, etc? Engineering?

Is Florida off limits, or near the top of your wishes? What is the coldest winter you are prepared to tolerate? The hottest summer?

Is South Dakota off limits, too cold? Lots of colleges there, no nonsense.

Any special religion you want supported, or any religion you DON'T like and DON'T want supported?
