ISTROUMA INDIANS !!!
ISTROUMA translates into "Red Stick" ie Baton Rouge. The two Istrouma tribes had an annual cerimony in which they impaled a bear or dear on a tall pole, coloring the pole red with blood. This red pole (stick) was located on the banks of the Mississippi River and marked the boundry between the two tribes. These tribes were known as the Istrouma tribes and were part of the Chippawa tribes.
Note, when the french came up the Mississippi they saw the boundry marker and exclaimed "Baton Rouge".
We also have Choctaw, Caushata and many other tribes. However, we only have two reservations that I know of, both of which are complete populated by very large casinos hotels and parking.

Johnny,
Don't show your ignorance to a nationwide audience man. Have you ever heard of Grand Casino Coushatta? It is owned and operated by the Coushatta Indian (not Injun) tribe in Louisiana.
