I think she overplayed the birth control issue. I swear, she came across as odd saying that. And she wasn't a charming woman, something harsh about her and that doesn't play well in Louisiaa. I think people just got sick of one ad after another. It seemed embarassing rather than like a good fight. And Mary is an incumbent with a huge machine.
