Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

Good point, this is the first House race since Mrs. Pelosi was chosen minority leader. She is not the albatross to Democrats that some of us Republicans have been claiming.

Teddy, you were fretting about a Sanchez victory in Texas, and the fatboy lost by 20 points!

You're a Democrat, no matter what you say.

You just keep thinkin' Pelosi's God's gift to the Democrats.

Yep. Her San Francisco Democrat policies are just what the rest of America wants!

This is very good news as Terrell should carry Jefferson Parish by 25000 votes, but remaining Orleans votes may put her too far behind for Jefferson to make a difference

This was sooooooo close. We should not take it too hard.
Terrell was not as "warm" as Mary, and men just like blondes. What else explains it? Or, perhaps it is the fact that Louisiana hasn't voted a Republican into the senate since Reconstruction.

Oh well. Republicans don't need another Senate seat.

Hate to contradict, but Chafee could easily switch, and McCain may go independent just to make himself de facto leader of the Senate, extracting his little pet causes in exchange for his caucus vote. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Remarkably stupid timing by the White House on the forced resignations; it greatly magnified the rise in unemployment. They should have learned by now; you do the difficult things over the weekend, just like firing Harvey Pitt at 9 on election night.

There is no sugar or very little sugar grown in the Fifth District. Most of the sugar is in the district of Rep. Chris John, D-LA.

I've only heard speculation to such ... there were cheers earlier in Terrell's camp....so someone speculated that possibility, but as far as I recall, nothing posted here yet.

FOX said absentees are already counted. (Military votes comming in would be kewl.)
