Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!

Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

The other networks will probably cover this if and when Landrieu is ahead. Otherwise, why bother I guess.

This is what it's looking like, IMHO: Lafayette, Jefferson, and St. Tammany are holding back their totals till Orleans starts to report. All three of these parishes are staunch Republican. It looks like the GOP wised up to the RAT machine in New Orleans if this pattern holds, i.e. they're not letting them know how many votes they have to manufacture.

In glancing over the board, I find Landrieu much stronger in NE LA than she should be if Terrell is to win. I also find Terrell weaker in Acadiana than she needs to be. With no New Orleans votes yet reported, I think Landrieu can pull it out. Why? She can get a 100,000 plurality in New Orleans alone.

I just remember going to bed the night of the Thune-Johnson election with Thune handily up and waking up to all kinds of dead people speaking from the grave...

Hehehe. I know, 43* would probably be a blessing right now for your part of the country but it is mighty cold for a Louisiana election day.

Reporting on Fox that when the New Orleans and Shreveport voters were noted not to be coming in, that the emergency call went out to those precincts to go beat the bushes for their black votes. And they may well have done that. Jesse Jackson and Maxine Waters were doing their incindiary best this week.

This is ridiculous; 442 parishes and not one reporting from Orleans yet!

Unless Terrell increases her lead, Orleans will probably do her in.
I just heard that late reports had voter turn out heavy in Orleans.

With sunny skies and cool temperatures in the 50s, turnout was reported as a steady trickle in south Louisiana, but not as heavy as expected in central and northeastern parts of the state. http://www.theneworleanschannel.com/news/1825898/detail.html

But St. Tammany has increased in size since then and Landrieu doesn't have the stranglehold in Orleans like she had in 1996.

I was thinking the very same thing. I love FR on election nites and it being in Louisiana makes it really neat. I never even think of Grant parish or winn parish except on election nite.

Does anyone know how much Terrell needs to be ahead in order to be safe from New Orleans?

Your information is much appreciated, but as a gentle request from a fellow devoted Freeper & conservative....do those tables tell us enough to justify how much they slow down our downloading as we try and see the latest percentages every minute or so?
