While reading the above excerpts and articles, I had a strange thought enter my mind. I'd like to share it in the hopes another freeper has had this "thought" and please remember it's a "thought" that came out of the blue and not intended as slander or malicious intent. Here goes:

In a flash the "thought" was Jessie was part of a plot, him being the decoy "down below" while his partner-in-crime fired the fatal shot. A motive would be he wanted to be in the spotlight, instead.

Having said that, I can only guess what led to my 'flash' was his actions surrounding the tragedy, seeking newsmen and cameras seems rather odd. He put himself up front immediately and has stayed front and center since that awful day. Again, this is just a thought and not an accusation. I've never entertained this thought before.

If you need some tinfoil for your hat maybe we can split the cost for a roll. Because I've thought the same thing several times. It may seem far fetched to some but who has benefited the most since Dr.King's death? Even Dr.King's own family don't think James Earl Ray did it, or if he did he didn't act alone.
