But McNerney's spokesman, Bill Maer, says nothing improper occurred.

This has become a standard line since the days of the Clinton administration. Federal and state laws were broken, but "nothing improper occurred."

Wait a minute....

The DEMOCRATIC "STAFF" member - on the campaign STAFF - calls the county school secretary (ON GOVERNENT TIME!) and "asks her for a listing of ...... (who cares - IT'S GOVERNMENT INFORMATION!) people (to be called by the democratic campaign ? prior to the election) to help elect a democratic individual.

Nah.

Nothing to see here folks.

Just another democrat politician (AND THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS WHO SUPPORT DEMOCRATS!) getting caught using government funds, money, time, and employees and information about taxpayers in government databases and phone lists and school registrations to elect more democrats.
