Morning, Angelwood, very nice to see you here! Mud is so much fun to have around!

P.S. I'm looking for a picture of our pippin, and know she freeped with you all one weekend - do you happen to have a photo with her in it? :)

Oh yes, good point. Many many people claim Mudboy earns him money. There's this weird subculture of betting threads, apparently . . . . .

::ducking::

"I'm glad you're pleased, Mud"

Heck, I'm tickled pink...already e-mailed the thread to my three brothers and MUDpappy and MUDmama. No replies yet, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this thread's enuff to get a few of them outta Lurker Status and into full-fledged FReepin' mode...LOL!!

FReegards...MUD

BTW...I'm considering sending this thread to my father-in-law, the William and Mary Professor and full-fledged Lib'ral...LOL!! Then again, why ruin a perfectly good Holiday Season?!

Wow!! Thanks for the food. Got my energy going to relate these additional, carefully fact-tested tidbits from other contributors to the bio thread:

Conservative Musician reports:

In the short time I have known Mud he has shown himself to be a patriot, a keen observer of the liberal condition, a master lyricist, a connoiseur of fine music, and a lover of football, tequila, and all things conservative. He's damn funny, too! From his lair, also known as the Mudcave, he has graced FR with some of the most hysterical and insightful observations of modern political madness. Gore_War_Vet reports:

Wasn't he the one, who when we were on the White House tour asked the guide if he could go to the bathroom. If I recall when the guide told him "Of course" ol Mud just stood there awhile and mumbled 'thank you'.

"a pic of "pigpen" to make a background."

That's hilarious...but I must ping "dirtboy", the first FReeper I went out of my way to beFRiend years ago, and still one of my favorite FReepers.

Dirtboy, my earthen brother, please join us...MUD

"Many many people claim Mudboy earns him money."

A sight error. Mudboy nevers earns us money. He does earn us grief, because he owes us money. LOL

Oh, thank you, Free, for naming of those responsible for such a moving and sincere tribute to our Mudboy. I think each and every one of you deserves an Atta-Boy for your poignant memories of the muddy guy. :)

Oh, man, I must be foggy as London-town, and failed your pop quiz miserably...have always tried to be humble about my God-given talent for overlooking the obvious.

Tgsltakoma -- sorry I misspelled your name in the intro to the thread. Tgsl remembers Mudboy's heroics at the Patriot's Rally II with greater literary flare than I demonstrated. She remembered thusly:

"Mud came to my rescue after I lept off the stage and into the crowd of disruptors down in front, fists-a-flying. Mud must have had a flashback to his old Roller Derby days... he was flinging disruptors right and left until the law stepped in and told him that they'd take over the cleanup efforts." This "fact" is actually an accurate one!
