As Supreme Islamophobe, I issue a universal fatwa against all diciples of Mad Mo' and command ye hunt them down to the ends of the earth! Gee, that felt good!

The fatwa about a play about a Texan (and gay) Jesus is hardly done to protect other religions; it was done because Jesus is mentioned in the Koran. We saw the Taliban blow up the Buddhist statues, we know they don't do anything to protect other religions.

And the Saudi grand mufti, Abd al-Aziz, who supposedly issued a fatwa against suicide attacks (notice how little influence that had?), also issued a fatwa about 20 years ago denouncing anyone who taught that the earth was round, condemned them as athiests, and authorized the Faithful to kill them and plunder their possessions!

Yes but keep in mind that Muslims are trying to ingratiate themselves towards Christians by patronizing them and their beliefs. Numerous times on this Board (not so much the last many months) we'd have Islamics trying to drive a wedge between Jews and Christians (the most obvious example) by differentiating their position with respect to Jesus as opposed to the traditional Jewish one. All this is intended to do is to foment animus between Jew and Christian and exploit the differences for whatever Islamic agenda (usually to undermine support for the State of Israel).

But, I want my own special fatwa.

You ,you, you.......(sigh)

It's just not enough to be part of the same fatwa as the rest of us American infidels, is it?

As insensitive as I tend to be, I just think Muslims suck. They either don't have enough balls to speak out against their fellow "peace loving" Muslims who are murdering innocent children or they believe that Osama bin Laden is the second coming of Mohammed. Either way, it sucks.

They have not shown to me or anyone else in this country that they are truly supportive of ending this extreme murderous behavior. If they are scared, what does that say about the religion that is supposed to be "tolerant" and "open" to all? I wonder what a poll of those now freed Afghan women would be about the "peace loving Muslims" that ruled their country such as the Taliban?

I think I hate Mooselimbs more than most Americans. I think I deserve my own fatwa. Also, a little something to impress the chicks with. Also, my birthday is September 11th. Do I get my fatwa now? I think that Muhammad doesn't have the stamina to handle any American woman and would deprive the world of Viagra.(He would take all of it for himself.)

If you write a book with more intelligence and insightfulness than "Satanic Verses", then you'd be well on your way. Or, perhaps you could just complain that you'd like to screw one of the Mullah's daughters and I'm sure that would truly get their attention. Outside of that, you are stuck with the rest of us infidels! LOL!

I think Muhammed would marry Miss Israel. How's that? If this won't do, I'll send Saddam's daughter a love note.

So, anyone who dares to insult the Prophet Mohammad should be killed. I suppose we are all under a Fatwa as it is; they want to kill Americans and Jews especially. I don't understand why the press molly-coddles these people. That is really unfair to call what happened in Nigeria a clash between Muslims and Christians when it was obviously very one-sided. I'll never figure out why the media always seems to side with the killers.

Scam is right. Every now and then throughout history, a person will come along and claim to be The Prophet. Mohammad was one of these nuts and when they have charisma and charm and power, it sometimes turns into a major religion. This one has been very destructive for centuries. I wish they'd just leave us the hell alone.

Is that a joke about double pork fatwas and burying people in pigskin? I mean you never know, they do some strange things.

If anything ends up happening in Iran, I really hope they do it peacefully, as the Iranian people are by and large really very nice and they are tired of their repressive government. They are not Arabs; the Persians are a distinct people, and they are famous for their warmth and hospitality. A lot of them have a great sense of humor as well.
