In the age of nukes if we can't wipe out radical collectivist ideologies somebody will blow us up. I consider it neccasary for our self defense. It may eventually be possible to restore the World before Woodrow Wilson destroyed it to make the world safe for socialism as mainly divided between a few civilized great powers. Otherwise I give humanity a very low probability of survival( well a few will survive to begin the stone age all over again of course).

A world policing policy will not wipe out anything. To believe that it will merely serves to undermine national defense resources but spreading them in every knook and cranny of the planet. Such a policy is the ultimate in futile social engineering.
