"As human beings we know that on every continent, in every culture, people given the choice between tyranny and peace, will choose peace," she said. Yeah right....more like when given the choice between having the shiite bombed outta them and peace
......... then, sure they choose peace..better to stay alive and be able to plan your next move..

How many promises of "If *this* happens, I'll never return to post" do you intend to break? Seriously, I have some money riding on this question.

You are definitely on the cutting edge... cutting the cheese.

You're an idiot, and a welcher.

I hear that Rice is going to have Rick Lazio as his running mate, just to annoy you. And Laz will probably invade Hillary's space during the debates again, too!
To: Guillermo
Don't diminish Tuco's role here. His job is to hop immediately on any thread discussing any person wo can be perceivied as a threat to his boss, Hillary.

Rice said that democracy requires constant work, adding that it has been a continuous struggle even in the United States to live up to all the principles of democracy."Democracy is a journey not a destination," Rice told them after a feast-breaking dinner during Ramadan. Marked by fasting from sunrise to sunset, Ramadan ended Wednesday.
We live in a republic, not a democracy---thank God.
Democracy sucks...it's nothing more nor less than mob rule. That's why the Founders of the United States rejected it as a form of government.
Rice was presented with the Quran, the Muslim holy book.
Hope she reads it...might be a real eye-opener for her.
Speaking to Muslim women favorably about Islam is on a par with speaking to a group of Auchwitz survivors about the glories of National Socialism.
It's not only ridiculous, it's dangerous.

And Laz will probably invade Hillary's space during the debates again, too! Geez - I don't know who was advising Rick, but the mere fact of Rick "invading Hillary's space" during the debate, lost Rick whatever chance he had of winning the election.

Ms. Condoleezza Rice for President!
She told about 60 members of Karamah that the human rights organization "is a constant reminder that millions of Muslims contribute to all walks of American life from education to science, law, business, public service."

A whelcher is one who makes a wager, then fails to perform on it.
You are a whelcher.
To: Tuco-bad
Sorry, the wager, which I lost, was as to the response to that question. I had wagered that you would either not respond or, if you did, you would try to excuse your deceit. My buddy said you would give a response that would not be informative in the least. I owe him lunch.

Calling Islam a great religion, Rice said people should not be treated unfairly because of their skin color, ethnic background or religious faith. While no sane person could or should argue with the last clause of this statement, the first part is certainly debatable.
The Soviet Union was 'great', as was Hitler's Germany.
But if she, by saying that it is 'great', means that Islam is in any way 'good', then she is either delusional or totally disingenuous.
