(From Dictionary.com)

re·pu·di·ate ( P ) Pronunciation Key (r-pyd-t)
tr.v. re·pu·di·at·ed, re·pu·di·at·ing, re·pu·di·ates
To reject the validity or authority of: “Chaucer... not only came to doubt the worth of his extraordinary body of work, but repudiated it” (Joyce Carol Oates).
To reject emphatically as unfounded, untrue, or unjust: repudiated the accusation.
To refuse to recognize or pay: repudiate a debt.

To disown (a child, for example).
To refuse to have any dealings with.

I believe the "reject the validity of..." definition fits the current discussion, but I have been guilty in the past of accepting or using a word that sounds like something it ain't. In this case I can at least make an argument, which I must assume you know to be different than your blatent assertion. I would advise caution when flaming someone when you are not standing on 100% firm ground.

Why in the world you would think I am a liberal is beyond me. If you follow my posts, you will see that I am quite the opposite. I rather liked having someone here that forced us to sharpen our argumenation scissors -- but it is true this is JRs baby and he can do whatever he wants and ban whom he wishes.

If that was your point,it was lost in your diatribe.

di·a·tribe ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-trb)
n.
A bitter, abusive denunciation.

I got a little carried away.
Consider me duly and gently reprimanded. Sounds like we agree more than we disagree. Your point is well taken.
