WASHINGTON (CNN) --The end of Ramadan has stirred renewed concerns over the threat of a terrorist attack against U.S. citizens and the nation's allies.
Earlier this week, an al Qaeda statement posted to the Internet threatened a strike to coincide with the end of the Muslim holy season -- which is December 5 and 6. The statement said, "You have not learned your lesson."

In a worst case secnerio the US is capable of matching terrorist act for terrorist act.
The US can also use ecomonic sanctions against countries in an effort to get them to "clean up" their own countries.
We could send all non resident persons from an offending country back to that country.
We could become serious about protecting our own borders.

They are not the sand people; they are orcs. Watch the trailer for The Two Towers and see how closely the theme of that movie resembles current events as it did with the first movie last year.

Well, the evening of December 6 in NYC would be early the morning of the 7th in most Arab countries. For what that's worth.

So do we take their threats on their time or ours?

So do we take their threats on their time or ours? Good question. It's hard to say, as I would guess it would depend on where the person doing the threatening is located, as well as where the attacks are planned to take place (in the U.S. or overseas).

What I'd like to know is, what is the lesson we were supposed to learn from 9-11? Seriously, what do they think we're supposed to take from their actions? That the US is vulnerable? What?
