O'Reilly disagrees on the designation "hate crime" but at least he gave Mary's martyrdom national coverage. People will go and read Rod Dreher's article. That is a good thing.
I can only hope Catholics will get energized to keep this in the public focus and that we will continue to press the Church for the opening of Mary's cause.
We need to continue to speak of the martyrdom of Mary Stachowicz. And we need to pray for her family to get better legal counsel than Mr. Cavanaugh, Esq.
Bernadette.

We are very pleased that O'Reilly gave it some coverage though the facts of the case were presented in the most abysmal and convoluted way. I think all of us who e-mailed O'Reilly about this case and gave it bandwidth on Free Republic should be pleased to have helped out a little bit.
Bernadette, Siobhan's sister.

If you would like to pursue personal information and correspondence, you can reach me by private email. But sarcasm aside, "I'm not interested" and your brand of anti-compassion is neither laudable nor attractive and I would reconsider what it means to be a "nice guy" citizen, if I were you.

Hey, we're all sly and clever tonite, aren't we.

Excellent post. I don't really care what someone is thinking when they willfully take another life.

>>I know people who could have written what I wrote in all seriousness.
I knew the original statement was sarcasm, and the statement above is really, really frightening. I don't know if I could deal with that, if I had to deal with them on a daily basis.

"...If you would like to pursue personal information and correspondence, you can reach me by private email..." Yikes...
No thanks pal.
"...your brand of anti-compassion is neither laudable nor attractive and I would reconsider what it means to be a "nice guy" citizen, if I were you..."
Hmmm...
I know plenty of people who have much to recommend them who agree with me...
I run into a guy on the internet who gives every indication of being a queer-lover, who apparently makes a pass at me, who disagrees with me...
Not a tough choice, sport.

Your statement was a beggar. It begged a subject -- just like homosexual sex -- two objects never producing a subject. A hollow sink of the spirit.

I don't know if I could deal with that, if I had to deal with them on a daily basis. Hey, why do you think I choose to hang out on FR?

Interesting that you play like I made a pass at you. Says more about you than it does about me, bub. Sweet dreams.
To: CapedCrusader
"...Says more about you than it does about me, bub. Sweet dreams..." Oh! I get it! It's a psychological thing!
You're embarrassed about making the pass, so you're playing the old projection card!
Wow... What a reversal for me!
Geez... I'm actually starting to wonder now... Maybe instead of being psychodrivel, the 'projection' thing is real...
Maybe I'm like a 'secret' gay!
Kinda like the Twilight Zone episode I just watched where Hitler was actually a changeling, a little Gypsy baby!
That's so DEEP!
I've got goosebumps!

It's definitely time to shut down the computer when I'm involved in a juvenile scratch-fight over whether I hit on someone over an Internet bulleting board! lol.
Good nite, sweet prince. Look into that projection thing.

"...It's definitely time to shut down the computer when I'm involved in a juvenile scratch-fight over whether I hit on someone over an Internet bulleting board! lol..." Don't bail now!
I'll do like Rush and tie half my brain behind my back, OK?
Hmmm... 'Scratch Fight'... Interestingly feminine choice of words... And 'Bulleting'... Obviously a Freudian slip... He's contemplating using 'bullets' on me.
Stop it brain! I tied you up!
"...Good nite, sweet prince..."
Hmmm... Another pass. Concealed perfectly, 'in the open'...
Stop thinking, damn you!
"...Look into that projection thing..."
Yeah? Yer momma!
What kind of knot is this? Untie me!

Based on your username, I'm going to offer an off-topic comment and question I've been posting on "liberal leftist acadame" threads:
Conservatives need a long term plan to take back some of academia. The tenure system seems totally stacked towards ensuring that groupthinking Leftists/Socialists/Communists are the only ones admitted into the system. Given that, how do we accomplish this goal?
To: Siobhan
Do you have a link to the Dreher article?

So people in the medical and psychiatric professions don't have the integrity to promote accuracy in their fields and place 'political correctness' concerns ahead of the health of their patients? Sounds like paranoia Then why around 1973 did the AMA change their definition of the beginning of human life from fertilization to implantation?
My guess is that they didn't want the pill to be categorized as an abortifacient. Or maybe I'm too paranoid.

Trying to turn this into a gay-assaults-Christian-martyr is typical talkshow fodder. Oh, really, it does not look like to me the gay cockroach provided her a job offer.
