Clearly we can infer that nature is a much more efficient programmer than Microsoft, since my wife is much more entertaining and interesting than Windows XP ;)And your wife will probably let you make copies...

True. And I've also never had to reboot my wife ;)

"Why do we have the genes for tails?"The same reason that MS Windows still has MS DOS sort code in it (as well as numerous features that are coded but turned off): lazy DNA programming code reuse.

And I've also never had to reboot my wife ;)Lucky you! I've had to reboot two previous releases -- wife 1.0 was always crashing, and wife 2.0 froze up all the time.
Fortunately, wife 3.0 has been stable. Except for an annoying overflow in the "how many pairs of shoes do I need" heap, she's been great!

Sorry to hear that. I hope you remembered to uninstall all previous versions before installing wife 3.0, otherwise serious resource conflicts are likely.
Myself, I've had good luck with wife 1.0 so far, given regular preventative maintenance. And we've spawned two robust child processes so far, with no degradation in performance, so I think I'm doing pretty well....

I swear you sound like Stephen Gould! Are you?... Don't answer that, he's dead, sadly.

You're lucky. Every woman I ever dated turned out to be more like a virus than a dependable platform. Still looking, but like email, they come with so many suspicious attachments nowadays.

Everyone knows life started from an alien seed sent from another galaxy.

Wasn't this a Star Trek episode? The one where the microscopic, metallic lifeforms refer to humans as "ugly bags of mostly water"?Yeah, I remember that episode It was "Next Generation one
They were only capable of living as a unit with a layer of water to connect them.
First cell phones and now this, what else will Star Trek correctly predict? Personally I am hoping for a holodeck. I got some real good ideas for some very entertaining programs.

Remember though, Windows XP still occasionally goes down... You're still dealing with that bug? You need to install Flowers 12.0, Dinner 2.0, Wine 1.0, and RomanticMovie 1.1. That will sometimes do it. Harder cases may require the installation of Diamond 2.0, or the generic ExpensiveJewelryX plugin...

Do you know the difference between possibility(fantasy) and probability(reality)?
