Well that all depends: I believe free adult men should be able to stick their willies wherever they want to,

There are a lot of Catholic priests who evidently believe as you do.

In Canada for example, which is way 'ahead' of us in the area of hate-crimes, hate speech such as the Dr. Laura Show is banned. If that is not an assult on free speech, I don't know what is.

Canada does NOT have free speech. Canada is not as free a country as is the USA.

After discovering some of the Evil outlined in "After the Ball" I wonder just how infiltrated the priesthood is by the HomoFascists.

We [homosexual activists] have gone underground and we have people in every one of the Religious Right’s organizations. We’re on their mailing lists. We’re reading everything they’re putting out. We think the words from their mouths trickle down into violence. And when our evidence reaches a critical mass, we’re going to use the best attorneys in this country to bring a class action suit in 50 states to have it stopped.

— Homosexual activist Mel White
Larry King Live, August 13, 1993

Again, I ask: "What's to be done?" And try to come up with something that doesn't impede on individual rights.

How about keeping homosexual men away from teenage boys in close quarters? Boy Scouts has the smarts and courage to do this. The Catholic Church did not, and now we are a couple of thousand molested Catholic teenage boys later in the debate... How about allowing my kid to go to public school without being told that a man humping another man's rear end is 'normal and healthy.' How about requiring that homosexual men with AIDs be required to inform their (usually many) sexual partners? Etc., etc.

They're there. Time to rid the priesthood of this cancer.

....A key figure in the lavender jihad may be the "Reverend" Mel White, who presides over the Cathedral of Hope Metropolitan Community Church in Dallas (the Metropolitan Community Church is a homosexual denomination). White made a reputation for himself as a ghostwriter in the employ of such Evangelical leaders as Billy Graham and Jerry Falwell. Even as he lent his pen to the expression of biblical principles, White surrendered himself to the indulgence of his sexual impulses. He eventually descended into the homosexual "lifestyle," leaving behind his wife of 25 years.
Just a few years ago, the opinion cartel interpreted the sexual misconduct of a few television evangelists as a general indictment of the "Religious Right"; that same cartel, however, chose to interpret Mel White's sexual apostasy as a triumph of "courage" and "honesty." Talk-show host Larry King introduced his television audience to White by describing White's experience as "a story about shattered friendships and changed lives, all because of one man's decision to tell the truth." A hagiographic profile of White that appeared in the August 10, 1993 Washington Post bore the mock-ironic headline, "Mel White Gave Voice to the Christian Right. Then He Committed the Sin of Admission." The headline of a July 29th Los Angeles Times puff-piece proclaimed that White lives "In a State of Grace."
Media portrayals of Mel White followed another of Kirk and Pill's recommendations: "In order to make a Gay victim sympathetic to straights you have to portray him as Everyman .... The campaign should paint gays as superior pillars of society." Thus, the Washington Post told its readers, "At first glance, Mel White looks like an ordinary guy from the suburbs; you could picture him as the weatherman in Pasadena." The story proceeds to describe White as an articulate, soft-spoken man of preternatural tolerance toward his "oppressors." The same template was used to produce dozens of soft-focus profiles published throughout the country.
But there is militancy beneath White's meek exterior. On the August 13th edition of CNN's Larry King Live, White stated: "I'm a member of ACT-UP. I know what we do and what we don't do." White must certainly be aware that ACT-UP frequently disrupts religious services and conducts campaigns of harassment, violence, and intimidation. He should also be aware that ACT-UP/DC, arguably the organization's most influential chapter, was organized by activists who used Hitler's Mein Kampf as their tactical bible. Predictably, nobody in the Establishment media saw fit to examine the implications of White's admitted membership in ACT-UP....

Hard to fathom your last statement, Caped Crusader. How is any assault better or worse than any other assault, based on anything except the degree of damage inflicted, or the sole mitigating factor of self-defense?

You don't seem to get it: If they decided that was more important than being Catholic priests, then they should take off the collar and go to it. And there is no excuse for them to be buggering kids.

Do you really think you have any standing to go tell homosexuals how to live their lives? Do you think they would listen to you? Do you know the difference between disapproving of someone's life choices and making stupid unenforcable laws?

Odds are it is a LOT more than a couple thousand - a WHOLE LOT more. But I ask you this: is the answer laws against homosexuality? Or is the answer true freedom of association, where Scouts are free to exclude those they find repugnant and dangerous, and the Catholics are similarly free (although they are so far away from their own supposed doctrine that I doubt they can fix the situation)?

'Cause he has to attract more audience.

On another note did any of you catch that article over at Newsmax by their new queer columnist, Eddy Koch? It is a pure propaganda piece about how Hitler killed queers at almost the same rate as he killed Jews which is a blatant lie. Hitler in fact, did the exact opposite in that he used queer behavior to break people around him down. In a note to Newsmax, I stated another fact and that was that they, newsmax ought to be ashamed of themselves in printing that queer propaganda piece when the truth is that many young Jewish boys were raped by German guards in death camps.

Substitute "embezzler", "burglar", "rapist", "serial killer" for "homosexual people" -- they ain't going away either, and understand well what "learning to live with them" means!

You stepped on the slippery slope, dude. On the right you can add: "pot smoker, smut peddlar, blasphemer" and on the left you can add "homphobe, self-esteem-reducer, and men guy who fires people because they don't perform." Let's make 'am ALL illegal and we'll have a perfect society, right?

WRONG, of course. WHY? because GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE ANSWER. Not for the right or the left. Or anyone. The answer is to keep government focused on punishing real crime, and leave everyone with all the freedom they need to pursue their vision of morality. For example, if we were freed of government schools, there would be no issue regarding homosexual activists in the schools.

Three Questions:

1. Do you have any links on Mr. Bennett's "switch"? I always thought once a homo always a homo.

2. Do you have any links to O'Reiley's transcript for that show? O'Reiley thinks he's such a tough guy when he shouts down people like Bennett.

3. Would you find it okay for homosexuals to "marry" under secular law even if that marriage is not recognized in the eyes of the church?

"Slippery slope ... The answer is to keep government focused on punishing real crime."

Just would like to note that, personally, I hate to use the term "slippery slope" in first use, or even rejoinder. It's meaningless! And don't waste my time time attempting to show how meaningful it is, or I'll subscribe you to thousands of self-affirmation email lists!

Now to the point!

Real Crime! Well what is real crime to you, is a felony to others so you have your own quicksand there.

Maybe his much younger trophy wife is a liberal?

Oh bosh. Of course, I knocked my own statement senseless. I meant "What is a real crime to you is a public service to others!"

Or something like that ...
