Just would like to note that, personally, I hate to use the term "slippery slope" in first use, or even rejoinder. It's meaningless! And don't waste my time time attempting to show how meaningful it is, or I'll subscribe you to thousands of self-affirmation email lists!

Real Crime! Well what is real crime to you, is a felony to others so you have your own quicksand there.

Too bad you don't like your arguments characterized, but not only did you step on the slippery slope, you are throwing away absolutism to stay there. You are adopting the "everyone sees the world differently" view of the relativists to support your position that it is OK to expand teh law beyond Constitutional limits in a direction you favor, but not in a direction favored by leftists.
