[history]
If the enlightened bureaucrats running the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) get their way, supervising a multilingual workforce will become a nightmare for small businesses across the country. Judging from the EEOC complaint filed Sept. 27 against RD's Drive-In, a family owned diner in Page, Ariz., an employer runs the risk of being hit with a lawsuit anytime he seeks to prevent workers from verbally abusing co-workers and offending customers in a language other than English.

I'm sure the out of work employees will thank the jackbooted liberal thugs from the EEOC for making their lives better for a change.

The family isn't very smart. They should have quietly fired the trouble makers and replaced the entire crew with employees that only speak English.
Quota's do not apply to business's with less than 50 employees they would have been within the law and not open to suit by anyone.

Political Correctness is a fatal Central Nervous System virus which destroys a society, kills its economic base and can kill innocents when it gets out of hand.

What exactly is a jackboot? I've always wondered that.

Interesting.....as a small business owner here in CT, I keep getting bombarded with "equal oppurtunity employment" crapola.
The latest form is "the supplier diversity program supplier profile form"....which includes:
African Americans
Hispanic Americans
Asian Pacific Americans
Native Americans
Subcontinent Asian Americans (whatever the hell that is)
Hasidic Jewish Americans
Non minority women
I completed some Graphic art / promotional work for a marketing firm in Wilton Ct and I'm gonna be black-balled (no racial pun intended) if I don't fill out this form, which inquires about the racial make-up of both my employees as well as all of MY SUPPLIERS!
Sheeeeesh, like I have time for this sh!t.
As an American of Irish decent, I'm a little miffed that the Gub-mint doesn't have a set aside welfare progrm for ME.

With a screen name of "Intimidator"? I'm serious, I really want to know what a jackboot is? Got a picture?

According to Merriam-Webster:
1 : a heavy military boot made of glossy black leather extending above the knee and worn especially during the 17th and 18th centuries
2 : the spirit or policy of militarism or totalitarianism
3 : a laceless military boot reaching to the calf
I believe that in modern times it refers to the Nazis.

"Hispanic Americans" - gee, I would guess that means people from the European isthmus nation of Spain.
Funny, but why don't they include Portugal? Someone who lived across the street from the border with Spain could immigrate to the United States and get no preference at all, even though they lived in essentially the same place and had essentially the same ethnic origins!
Isn't that awful?! Justice for the Portugese! Where's Mary Berry when ya need her?
/sarcasm...
