but it will not necessarily include an admission that the country has weapons of mass destruction, the chief Iraqi official liaising with U.N. arms experts said on Tuesday. See ya!

If they have no WMD, they should stop threatening their use. (Of course they have WMD.) Dec 7th as in they think they're pulling a Pearl Harbor on us? I guess that's why Saddam has moved to his underground death chamber. (I mean command center.)

"We are a country devoid of weapons of mass destruction. This fact is known to all countries including the United States of America and Britain and all those concerned." A truer statement could not be made. These weapons are as good as gone. The man is a prophet.

I can just imaging Saddam doing something so stupid as to launch an attack that day.

I think the Prez has proof of what Iraq will deny.....! SAD-dam is SUNK.

They're already in material breach. The only question now is whether Bush has the guts to tell the U.N. to stuff it and hit Iraq, or if he's going to let the terrorist-loving U.N. slow-roll us forever.

I'm beginning to wonder if the UN inspection team is screwing around with their time until this happens. On Dec 7th they will declare they have no weapons of mass destruction and the UN team will head out to to the site they know has em.. find them.. and the US will pound them all straight to hell. I always find the releasing of documents on Dec 7th to be quite symbolic. If it was Monday or Tuesday I wouldn't say so but it's rare for major statements or things to happen on weekends unless there is a summit of some sort.

Regardless of what Iraq claims on 7th Dec. 2002, the US and Britain truly believe there are remaining WMD.
The US and Britain will reveal pretty hard evidence, contradicting Iraq's claim of no WMD.
Iraq hopes to buy time, get the UN to debate, obfuscate, delay, etc.
Bush and Blair MAY set a deadline, for pre-emptive military actions. They will say the danger is too great, to wait for the UN.
And while the UN debates, beyond and thru the deadline, a "rolling start" will be initiated, into Iraq. Priority will be high to prevent harm to Israel.
My 2 cents. We live in interesting and dangerous times.
