One-Woman FReep of Nicole Parra (Voter Fraud in CA State Assembly Race)
December 2, 2002 | Saundra Duffy

Posted on 12/02/2002 8:43:47 PM PST by Saundra Duffy

The freep took place on the north steps of the Capitol in Sacramento. Today, Nicole Parra was sworn in as the Assembly Member from the 30th Assembly District (Bakersfield area). But she got her sorry butt freeped by yours truly for VOTER FRAUD. The Grand Jury is still investigating. Here's the link to the previous thread about how the democRATS are stealing this election: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/798851/posts

And now here's the FReep report: WOW! It was great!! It took all my courage just to do it cuz it looked like I was going to be the only freeper to freep and so it was. HOWEVER, some guy with a camera showed up. He was from Channel 13 or 17 out of Bakersfield. He took film of me shouting at passers-by, etc. And earlier in the day I was interviewed by a reporter from the Bakersfield Californian newspaper.

Anyway, I positioned myself at the end of the north steps closest to the exit. I started freeping at 4:30 and finished at 6. You should have seen all these big wig politicians and their staffs. Ha! You should have seen their faces! Priceless! I yelled, "Did you know you can buy a state assembly seat for two million dollars?!" I called Nicole Parra a fraud, a liar and a cheater over and over again. I passed out my flyer to many people. Believe it or not, most people were rather receptive. I think they're all embarrassed by this creepy mess.

My sign was huge; one side reads: "Nicole Parra - *Voter Fraud? - *Bribery? - Grand Jury In Session - PARRA will be exposed" and the other side of the sign reads: Nicole Parra - You will be exposed! - If you do the crime, you will do the time - What ya gonna do when they come for you? - RESIGN NOW!" So there.

Some Republican friends came over to encourage me but I don't think I should say their names. I don't know why but I just think I shouldn't. One State Senator's staff came over and one of the biggies from the California Republican Party. Not one Republican chastized me for being there. Just the opposite.

One guy said, "You hate Mexicans, don't you?" to which I replied: "No, I just hate voter fraud." (I didn't know Nicole Parra is Mexican; she looks just like a White person from her pictures in the paper.)

I also yelled stuff like: "You don't even have to be smart to know there was voter fraud in this race!" Many people nodded their heads in agreement.

So that's my report. Even if I knew how to post photos, I couldn't, cuz there are none. But maybe there will be TV coverage tonight. And maybe there will be an article in tomorrow's Bakersfield Californian.

I want you all to know that I feel really good tonight. I didn't want Nicole Parra to think she could get away with this THEFT without someone holding her accountable. We rained on her parade today. Believe you me. I had distributed flyers to every Assembly Member and every State Senator yesterday when the capitol was open to the public - slipped the flyer under each and every door.

And . . . the pressure is still on for the investigation to continue. Even the Republicans have been put on notice to not drop the ball. Justice needs to be served.

For victory & freedom!!!

Let us know how the Grand Jury decides. Hopefully they will indict her.

Question is: Will the Republicans continue to pursue the truth? Yesterday, I sent an email to the Bakersfield GOP rep guy (Trice Harvey) chewing him out for being a wimp. For now, looks like the Republicans are turning their backs on Dean Gardner and the truth. It's not too late, however. We'll see . . . Stay tuned. . . For victory & freedom!!!

Excellent FReep. Please fill me in on why you think there was voter fraud in this election. What were the circumstances?

Please fill me in on why you think there was voter fraud in this election.

For starters, the RATS pumped in almost TWO MILLION DOLLARS while the GOP guy spent around $230,000. Of course, that doesn't mean there was voter fraud; just a determination by the RATS to win this seat. Here's what I heard: 1,500 military ballots trashed because they were "received too late" (Lemoore Naval Air Station is in this district). Other allegations: Hanky panky with high propensity Republican absentees (the correct signature on the outside of the envelope did not match the signature on record so these got pitched), about 1,500 of those. In addition, non citizens were voting (surprise!). People who live outside the district were voting. The UFW (United Farm Workers) union sent fresh flowers to democrat voters in exchange for votes (as in multiple voting). It's illegal to spend more than one dollar per vote. I think the Republicans can prove all of this but do they have the BALLS?! If the GOP lets Nicole Parra get away with this, what's to stop the RATS from feeling empowered to employ these tactics in every race in California. (They're probably already doing it, anyway.) At this point, I am more upset with the Republican leadership because looks like they're gonna roll over and take it in the butt. It would cost around $100,000 in legal fees to fight this thing. Isn't this DISGUSTING beyond belief?! For victory & freedom, anyway!!!

If the Republicans had the resolve to fight this thing, a special election would be called and Nicole Parra would be singing the blues. By the way, Cal "Drooley" the congress"man" must be in love with Nicole Parra as he fought tooth and nail for her. (Parra used to work for him.) This whole race STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!!! For victory & freedom!!!

We have the same problem in Wisconsin. The Republicans don't seem to want to play for keeps!

Frustrating isn't it? I sent a choice little email message to the GOP guy assigned to this area (Trice Harvey) yesterday with a "cc" to the State Party Chair, for what it's worth. For victory & freedom!!!

FYI: Letter to the editor published in Bakersfield Californian about this race (Sheesh, I hate democRATS):

Local voters watching
"Bam!" Bam? I don't think so. Nicole Parra could use a lesson in how to "win" with humility.

The tenor of her toast on Friday night might have been appropriate if she had won anything resembling a mandate from the voters in her district. With the results being what they were, however, her jubilation seemed inappropriate and immature.

Her public comments notwithstanding, the closeness of the election results should serve notice to Parra that there are serious questions about whether she will put the interests of her constituents before those of her Los Angeles area patrons.

Assembly members serve a two-year term. Local voters will be keeping tabs on her legislative activity and, if 2002 is any indication, 2004 will be a reelection challenge for Nicole Parra. Just imagine what kind of success the GOP will have if it actually supports its candidate two years from now.
