Do you know that on this forum I've found less than five people over the last two years who voted for Bush, that would make one nice comment about Buchanan. When Bob Smith bolted the party he made a speech that I'd defy any Conservative to argue with on even one point. Hardly anyone here will say a nice thing about him either.

I may dislike some of the things Bush does, but I genuinely like him and some of the things he does. I simply do not understand folks who support him and can't act the same way as I do with regard to the persons they didn't support. That facet of this situation speaks volumes to me.

So may most all Council of Conservative Citizens members - but that doesn't keep CofCC members who agree with him on guns and abortion from picketing his pet GOP congresscritters who agree with him on "free trade" and immigration in big protests down here!

Politicians' feet - even GOP ones' - need to be kept to the fire to keep them on our team. Remember how Bush Daddy sold out on social issues?
