Not asleep, fat and happy. They have a "don't rock the boat" attitude. But, the major German banks are in trouble. If they fail, the socialist house of cards will tumble down.
Prosperity built on debt, especially bad debt has a way of crashing quickly. But don't expect the European population to kick up a fuss about much of anything for the time being.
It will take the roof falling in to get their attention. For now, the europhobic left is firmly in control.
