J. Neil Schulman's The Rainbow Cadenza had a future scenario in which due to drugs that selected for one gender of sperm, males outnumbered females seven to one. That meant a significant number of males just went homosexual as opposed to getting nothing. While it was true that the small number of women would get their pick of men, the society also required each of them to be a state prostitute for three years - not a pretty scene. Hillary invited Daly to Arkansas to teach witchcraft and lesbian studies at the famed 'Governor's School', and she taught her brand of filth to Arkansas's best and brightest high-schooler's. One MALE teen committed suicide as a result of her demented teaching.

Don't believe everything you read, man. I was there in 1991 when Daly spoke. Governor's School was a 6-week program at Hendrix College (where the women are women and so are the men-- but that's a different issue) that featured speakers about twice-a-week who gave seminars. They sent every kind of liberal nutjob there they could find. It was funny actually. They had a PETA person who forced us to watch an anti-omnivore video and many of us said afterwards "Wow, that got me hungry-- I hope the cafeteria serves up some of the steaks they made in that video." They had a Native American guy there talking about the evil white guys who slaughtered the original settlers of America. They had Roe v Wade attorney Sarah Weddington there to talk about the "right to choose." You get the picture. These people would give their talks and then we'd get to ask questions and watch them hem and haw and stutter.

We saw movies like Birdie (it wasn't at IMDB.com, but I"m pretty sure that was the name of it), Harold and Maude, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. We'd watch them and then have discussions about them. We also talked about philosophy-- Is there a God? Do we exist, etc.

To be honest, AGS was mostly an opportunity for getting booty. Most of the people upset over being there were just mad because they couldn't get any booty because they couldn't get it or because they had a girlfriend at home-- I know of one guy from Oark who left early because he was so horny.

Only totally weak-minded people could have been swayed by that summer.

MD: First of all, if it's only matrilineal and matrifocal, it's not really prepatriarchal. Prepatriarchal would be really ancientgynocentric. And so what he's speaking about, as I understand it, is already patriarchy on the way. I'm talking about a really woman-centered society of which we have no direct memory.
