I can easily believe 36 cats, my aunt had something like 110 or 111 of them, but she lived on a farm, she would not part with a single one of them.
My outside cat population is growing, one stray was hanging around so I put a bowl out to feed him, now I have three bowls out there. No mice around here. Tomorrow everyone gets turkey, house pets and outside ones.

Wow - it's 1:34 a.m. so Thanksgiving is technically over. Unequivocally the best I've had in years. Clear skies, good food and company, no construction on I-10 (what a miracle).
Linda - wonderful to see you back!
Bonsoir,
SG

Oooooh, I have nightmares of becoming like your aunt one day. I hope our population doesn't grow anymore. I love my critters dearly but I often feel overwhelmed. Imagine that! hahaha!
All of these guys and gals are spayed/neutered but people have a tendency to drop off unwanted cats in this general area. I swear there's a sign out front that only cats can see that reads, "Suckers live here. Come on, strays." We live on a farm, also, so we have the room for them all.
Only a couple of them are good at catching mice, chipmunks, and the like. The rest are only good at catching BIG, juicy bugs. ergh!!!!
Like you, I'm going to give these critters some turkey with their breakfast. I might be overwhelmed sometimes but I spoil them every chance I get. :-D
