Before heading to Crawford, Texas for the holiday, President Bush signed the 911-commission bill, which will allow an investigation into the 911 attacks, and help identify ways to avoid future attacks. Bush appointed Henry Kissinger commission chairman. The President joined First Lady Laura and their two daughters in Texas this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you SO much, both of you!

My two sisters and their families will be coming here tomorrow. I'm sure we'll have some rough moments, but it will be good to be together so soon after this past weekend. It will help us heal together.

I'm doing the turkey and pies, and they're taking care of all the rest. The house smells like pumpkin right now, and the ground is covered with snow. It should be a good day tomorrow!

He's still so very weak. Hopefully he will gain strength when he atarts the rehab program. He can't stay up more than an hour or two at the most. Our Thanksgiving got scrubbed. Brother-in-law got sick and can't come. Daughter and her husband decided to wait till Christmas. So, we accepted an invitation to eat with Roy's in-laws. One of Jack's parrishioners passed away last night. We will both do her funeral on Saturday. Sad for her family too. It makes me all the more thankful that Jack pulled through this, at least for the time being. Give Eric a big Thanksgiving (((hug))) for me.

It takes a while to recover from a heart attack.........I know about these things. And if Jack is like my husband (which I think he may well be), you'll have to chain him down to keep him from doing things he's not supposed to do.

I'll keep praying for you both, and I'll give Eric that hug! :o)

My Thanksgiving Post to my friends here on FreeRepublic and expecially the "The Dose"

I want to take this opportunity to thank rintense for all she has done to support our President and this country by posting this wonderful thread each and every day. I also want to give thanks to JimRob for this great website, So that all of us can gather and share our thoughts while we support our nation and it's leaders as we stand against those who wish us harm. We are extremely blessed to live in this great country and it's our honor and duty to defend it.

May God Bless all of you and your families as we give thanks for the bleesings bestowed upon us this Thanksgiving. May God Bless our troops and their families for their sacrifices as they defend our country and our freedoms.
