It may seem like a dichotomy, but, many of us can appreciate wildlife and at the same time, respect hunters and the eating of meat. Makes sense to me. I get along with wild critters, for some reason-- they'll just come up to me, expecting to be fed. I usually oblige, if I have something to offer. And no, I'm not missing any body parts. :-)
I don't know, maybe we're tired of the duplicity of humanity and refreshed by the honesty of animals. (?)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

He probably left in disgust when he discovered that the lady in front of him in the express lane had more than 10 items in her basket.

Deer are in the moose family, I hear.

There are a lot of deer near our lake lot. When we first bought it my husband said he was going to set up feeders on the lawn. I thought Aw he's gonna feed them. Come to find out he was planning on "hunting" from the porch. CD

I wondered why there was two pings for that post. Now I know. How often do you do that?
To: farmfriend
How often do you do that? Not often - the phone had rung, so I was stuck trying to talk to my nephew while I was pulling the list.

Yes. I spoke to someone who was there. The deer barely missed the $200 wines.

Sometimes slipping on the linoleum, it went through the U-Scan checkout area and down aisle 10. Until these things learn proper shopping etiquette, they shouldn't be allowed in the store in the first place.
