Personally, I think this is a good choice. He is widely respected, a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER (shuts up the left), has no ax to grind, is non-partisan, and will be quite thorough.

I do not think Kissinger is going to whitewash anything.

And, the Rats will have to shut up about the entire matter while the committee goes ahead with its investigation.

I will be interested to see who else is named to the committee.

I agree with you, Miss Marple, that Kissinger is a very good choice. Those who are complaining in this forum about Kissinger's KBG connections without any facts to back up their claims need to put up information to support their complaints or perhaps try to understand geopolitics a little better. A good start to understanding geopolitics and how we often temporarily befriend our enemies in order to further our cause should read The Threatening Storm.

I agree with your assessment of Kissinger as head of the committee. It's the other appointees I'm interested in , too. Especially the 5 appointed by the left-wing.
