Islam, Islam, Islam! Normally i consider myself quite even-tempered and never rushing off to criticize something blindly. I also try to give all aspects a certain modicum of 'tolerance' ...call it the benefit of a doubt!

However i have to say there is nothing positive in Islam! Nothing whatsoever!

Just death, pain, suffering, anguish and a whole host of other baddies! It seems the legacy of Islam is just oppression, depression, suppression, repressions and so on.

And have you noticed that when those muslim clerics come on TV all they do is give excuses! No apologies or anything close to a 'mea culpa!' Just excuses and asinine statements like "muslims suffered too" or "the other side struck first." Then they fall back on a prepared statement on how Islam is a religion of peace and whatnot!

Sickening.

Which is why i was rather pi$$ed off with Ari Fleischer when he was defending the Saudis on Monday (when the reporters started asking him what he thought of the money trail to the wife of the Saudi ambassador). Defending the Saudis (and by proxy Islam) is basically tantamount to exposing oneself to a pack of ravenous wolves .....they will strike the first chance they get. And then we will see muslim clerics come on TV and say the murder of potentially tens of thousands of Americans was due to some 'anomaly' and that Islam is still a religion of peace! And then the Saudi embassy will pay some PR firm to put some ads portraying the Saudis as 'peaceful allies of the USA' or whatnot!

I think the last positive thing Islam ever did was many centuries ago (eg arithmetic, logarithms, internal medicine and architecture). And actually Islam shoudl nto even be given credit for those achievements ....especially when you consider that the cultures that came up with those developments soon came under totalitarian islamic zealots who impeded any further development. Islam is just some malignant malaise that keeps on getting worse (and if they want to give me a Fatwa for calling islam a cancer i do not give a flying hoot)! And if we continue pretending it is just 'misunderstood' i guess the only way we will understand its true nature is when 'they' get an atomic device and detonate it on US soil!

It looks like Europe and Asia will be catching more of the primitive hatred and acts of the peaceful ones then then America will.

The comparison is poor because Jesus was celibate, while Mohammed allowed himself dozens of wives, concubines, slaves etc. He even had a nine year old "wife".
