The Shame Of Muslims (Worth reading, not what you expect)
Islam Alaska ^

Posted on 11/26/2002 5:10:07 PM PST by SJackson

This is the Islam In Alaska opening page starting in July till the name of each Jewish child below has been individually honored.

They were murdered, in the Name of Allaah, who praying Muslims refer to as the Most Gracious and Most Merciful 30 to 50 times + every single day.

Why mourn the children of such a "brutal and inhuman people", many might ask?

The names of the children listed to the right [my incompetant formatting, they are below] were obtained from the website, www.whowillsavethechildren.org

Brothers and Sisters in Islam and any concerned others, that is a JEWISH authored website opposed to the excesses of fellow Jews. There are only around 14 million Jews in this world, and yet there are way over a hundred Jewish websites and similar but smaller numbers of Jewish organizations who are presently very active in opposing what THEY consider to be the criminal brutalities of their co-religionists. There are multiple numbers of Jews, as we speak who now sit in Israeli jails because of their refusal to participate in the ongoing covert cleansing of ARAB peoples, both Muslim and Christian.

The website referred to sends a powerful condemning message against current Israel because it also lists each and every name of the Palestinian children murdered by Jews of which there are multiples more. It also lists how they were killed, which so factually points to the true feelings driving this covert cleansing of a peoples.

The Shame of today's Muslims is this. Why is it that from among over 1.2 billion Muslims, I cannot find even one Muslim website dedicated to opposing and recording and publicly proclaiming the too many cruel and unhuman brutalities of our own co-religionists these days. I have been very active in various causes for human rights all my 55 years of life, which is WHY I was so thankful for finally discovering a religion revolving around compassion and yet one that prohibits excess charity and commands one to enjoy life; even referring to marital relations as a form of prayer.

Brothers and Sisters in Islam, the primary Jihad of Muslims today should be to save our Deen from the Muslims themselves, US, THE YOU'S AND ME"S; not from the Jews or the Americans. We must stop and reverse the descent of our religion before we reach even worse extremes like in the Crusades or the Inquisition. And we must remember the Promise of Allaah, that he will not save a people until they first make the changes inside themselves. We can look at the Catholic church today for an example of how a religion can recover from its sins of depravity. Those who now want to respond about a few certain priests should return to your television set where you belong. Your mind is owned and a slave to the media. May Allaah help you. Having been so active in worldwide human rights I can promise you that today, where- ever you go in human rights causes two groups out number all the others -- by far; Catholics and Jews. The priests and nuns in South and Central America alone are been being raped and murderd by the truckloads for decades now. Where is the Muslim Mother Teresa or Ghandi of the 20th Century. And I came to this Deen from the Catholic Church.

So we can return to our former glory once we change ourselves first -- before worrying about everyone else's evil. We can return to our former glory if that glory we yearn for is the society where the persecuted Jews and Christians fled for safety and freedom. If that glory is that Sunnah of the Prophet that mandated that before we engage in reforming others we must first become a community that, AS SEEN BY OTHERS, is one of impeccable manners and respectfulness, one of such trustworthiness that needs no contracts or guarantee other than a written record for memory purposes, one of such justness, such holiness that when we do War, the manner in which we War is seen BY OTHERS, as so impressive that THEY would call it a Holy War after the holy manner in which it is conducted.

And please, quit bitching about prejudice. I know another people who separate the genders, whose women cover their hair, who are openly opposed to American opulence -- but everyone LOVES them, defends them. This is because they give life to these Sunnah's of the Prophet for a community as listed above -- they are the Amish. These days they are way more the Muslims than we.

How can we have Fatwa's issued against such a minor matter as a few words in a novel by Salman Rushdie; and today we have no Fatwa's against, those evil mouths and minds who are the real murderers of all these children to the right -- not naive, lost all hopes, compliant, wanting to please youth. NO!!! No, the so-called scholars who have so tricked them in the Name of Allaah. These are the real blasphemers of Allaah, of the Prophet. These are the blasphemers of Salla-hu-deen who commanded that NO Christian or Jew be touched after defeating the savage Crusaders who had just previously been bashing the heads of infants by the hundreds against the great columns and stairs of Jerusalem -- and with a glee recorded by the writings of their own people. As the Qur'an points out repeatedly; it is these so-called liberators, too many of our religious "scholars," of any religion who are the chief causes of human warfare. For another beautiful example of this see James Thurber's very short story in only 55 simple briefly captioned drawings, The Last Flower, drawn in 1939. Click here to view.

The Islam of today is a great lie, as was the religion of Jesus during the Crusades, the Inquisition and the pograms and expulsions of Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492.. The dawa we give about our kindness and commands to stand up for human rights is almost nowhere to be found. In its place we have persons whose hearts are filled with hate and anger -- stealing our Deen, raping and twisting its scripture for any excuse to kill or beat or exploit.

Our scholars, almost all of them fall only into two categories. Those who kiss up to the West or to fame and status; peddling their cassette tapes and "lectures" about all our past glory's, jet setting about the globe, meeting up with elites and returning to their increasingly opulent lifestyles. Then you have the Madudi crowds, the scriptural and Sunnah lawyers who spend hours arguing how you should wipe your rear-end or peel a banana while just outside their windows are the homeless and hungry. Almost none of them posses any useful physical skill. These one's are expert in all things Haram (forbidden) and Kafr (defining disbelievers) being able to find great evils anywhere and everywhere they look. That's because those are the limits of their souls. And these are the same ones who, in knowing better, continue to translate that infamous 4:34 as to repeatedly hit with force and intensity -- your wives; this is what the word beat means, how it is defined by Mirriam Webster for instance. This is what too much of Islam is today.

Please take a more honest look inside us, our so-called Ummah of today. Today, post 9-11, we now have hundreds and thousands of well meaning Christians and others looking in to our religion. To do that they find our bookstores on the web and purchase from them. Just think how such well meaning people feel who have no idea to be so cautious of our notoriously crooked book dealers. Think how these people might feel about US when they open that package containing that long awaited "Genuine Islamic Qur'an". And what do too many of them find as they pull off those wrappers -- complete trash, by even the lowest of normal western standards -- Pakistan/ India quality. see example I know these peoples, I used to be one myself, so I still talk to them. They ask me "How can your people do such an act to a Holy Scripture, you can't find this done to Bibles." They are more concerned with the act of blaspheming than they are with being swindled of their monies. These are the very same good hearted peoples that so many of YOU so gleefully call "those Kafrs" when you are only just seeing them walk-by. "Say not about Allaah. what you do not know." But you have overlooked this whole huge section of our Allaah's Qur'an.

Let us begin to demonstrate to others this meaning of our frequent use of "In The Name of Allaah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful;" through our behaviors instead of empty words. We must begin to limit our Dawa words to only those whose real life examples have already been long existing in many not few of our DAILY lives. We must change OUR insides, before we say one more word about those outsides of others.

Those of us few who are not so self blinded by our own arrogances, must now separate from those who love their "religion" more than they love Allaah and Allaah's creatures, classic shirk even though they can't see it. We must cease to associate with those who, as the Qur'an warns in more than one place, "put out My lights with their mouths," (other than at Jummaah or at ANY prayers).

We must create hope for the rebirth of Nascent Islam, that evolutionary step by step path, the Sirraatal Mustaqeem, of an increasingly just world resulting from the practice of graciousness and merciful justice. The only Path that will ever lead to peace and justice for ALL.

Wow, now when people talk about peaceful, loving Muslims, I finally know who they are talking about! A handful of folks up in Alaska! Cool. LOL!!!

All the Moslems I've met, here in Oklahoma, have been fine people, and good American citizens. They are mostly Iranian (or Persian) Americans. It's good to see this; I've passed it on to Christian friends in Alaska. I'm not saying that Islam isn't a false religion, but many Moslem-Americans are here because they want to be Americans first!

This is REAL Islam ... the way it's supposed to be practiced. I have a few disagreements with this guy but all in all he's actually telling the truth.

Islam has no official priesthood but that doesn't mean that Islam's scholars are not as influential as priests. Our scholars, unfortunately, are incredibly corrupted. Quite a few are outright sadistic. It's like having all your priests being clones of Torquemada.

I have been a Freeper for quite a while. And I'm as Conservative a Republican as it gets. I'm a supporter of regime change in Iraq, condemn Palestinian suicide bombings and I stand four-square in support of religious freedom (my faith actually demands it). I am also, deep to the soul, a Muslim.

I really do not see any contradiction.

The Alaskan Muslims are not in need of Zoloft gas, like their more southerly brethren are.

With all due respect - Bull Shi*

I've met a number of imported and domestic muslims and NONE of them considered themselves 'American first'

Did anyone besides me notice that in most cases, the author uses the 3rd person when referring to the United States? I am assuming he is a citizen. However, when referring to muslims, he uses the 1st person. I wonder if it was unconcious, but yet it is another example of their steadfastness in the primacy of their religion over the state.

No matter how you cut it, this article is just more tripe from the "religion of peace".

I'm sorry this is your experience. At the same time, the Moslems I have met have been supporters of America. They left Iran because they didn't support Islamic fundamentalism, and many lost family members who couldn't get out.

I agree with your statement, Get it straight folks, We are a target, not a goal. as a generalization, but every rule has its exceptions. The exceptions prove the rule: that we should oppose radical Islam for our own benefit, and for the benefit of Moslems who want and (as children of God) deserve, something beter.

Any true believer in a religion would put God over State.

Remember: God - country - self

That’s been my experience, though the Muslims I know well can be counted on my digits, excluding toes and thumbs. I assume they’re a small minority, perhaps not. They need to speak out, which is why I try to post articles like this when I see them.

And I know several honest Armenians.
The trick is to get them (or see if they do it on their own) to ACT like they might talk or seek to be.
If you are silent about either Muslim crimes or Armenian (or any other group you might elect) xenophobia...you ain't helping nuthin' but your own self image.

I keep waiting and waiting to hear something like this article from my local Muslim community. Does the colder weather up there moderate people or something?

Here is what baffles me, and I have said it before: If I were a Southern Baptist, and the KKK had bombed a church, for example, would I not be telling anyone who would listen, "Do NOT judge us by these jerks!"

But post 9-11, what do I hear in the local papers and media?

Nothing! Not a word!

Why?

This is the biggest thing that can only make me suspicious, uncomfortable, and untrusting.

If a member of any group or community I belonged to was to do something that turned the name of my group to dirt, I most certainly would feel I had some kind of absolute obligation to do something about it..to try to clean up my group of these miscreants.

One might even argue that if clerics are so fast to comdemn people for insulting Islam, then perhaps they should first clean out their own houses, and themselves take the initiative, and not aid and abet the violent..even passively, by silence.

WOW! Your experience with Muslims has been very different than mine.

The ones I know are productive, conservative US citizens who don't even consider these fanatics and their pals to be Muslims. (They are also the biggest ditto-heads I know.)

I do think the percentage of extremist in the Muslim religion is way, way too high and is something we can't ignore.

Glad to have you among us. I only wish there were millions more just like you. You represent what has become an almost invisible being: a reasonable Muslim.

As you know, all faiths are free to contend for the souls of men in the United States, as long as they do so in the realm of ideas and faith. They are NOT free to do so by force.

In most of the lands ruled by Islam today, the opposite is true.

The lonely voice of reason you represent is almost completely absent in many of the nations ruled by Islam. In its place is a concerted effort to bring about a war of Islam against the rest of the world. The only thing holding this back is a tottering group of mostly corrupt dictators seeking to hold on to power at all costs.

You and I do not seek this war, but it seems closer every day. Instead of the rising tide of sanity that we should see from Muslims around the world (such as represented in your post), there is a rising tide of Islamic fascism seeking world domination.

If the insane fanatics fanning the flames of war in much of the Islamic world succeed, millions are likely to die, on both sides, before these lunatics have been wiped out. Islam, itself, will be the ultimate loser.

There is not much time left to turn back, if it is not too late already.
