Al Gore attacks FOX NEWS, Rush Limbaugh and the WASHINGTON TIMES... MORE... He calls them a 'fifth column' in the ranks of the media, and says that the RNC uses them to inject 'daily Republican talking points' into mainstream media coverage as a whole...

So then...Mr. Gore ADMITS he listens to the Great Rush Limbaugh and also watches Fox News Channel? Maybe there is some hope for this lost soul after all. :)

BTTT for a great post!
I just loved Rush's suggestion about what the whiny DemocRATS could do to try and get a better "count" on how many books Algore sold. In case anyone missed it, here it is again:
Rush said: "I suggested that the Democrats have a bunch of Gore book buyers call up a congressman from Florida, Bob Wexler on this. He could find buyers who'd say that they went to Borders or Barnes & Noble or wherever, and they thought they were buying the Gore book but they bought one of Pat Buchanan's books by mistake.
They could say that they're outraged over this conspiracy and demand that the books they bought count for Gore. Hey, they tried it in 2000 and got pretty close, right?

Hmmm. With Daschle, McCain and now Algore saying bad things about talk radio, and a new screed every day for 5 days now, they may be up to something. With McLame involved, perhaps it has something to do with so-called campaign finance reform. Perhaps McLame is going to try in include radio and TV political commentary with campaign contributions.
That would be one possibility.
Another possibilty - Reintroduction of the Fairness Doctrine.
Most likely we're going to see the one-two combo - why try to do with one law what can be done with two, three or more (isn't liberal logic great)? The first thing the libs have to do, though, is to make the issue bigger than it is. Get Katie and Tommy and Peter and Red Dan et.al. to start the turbo-speed hand-wringing on a nightly basis, imploring their dwindling audiences to pressure their congresspeople to "ban hate radio for the children." So Algore and Puff and the Maverick have to keep yammering away. After that, maybe a little "grassroots activism" paid for and arranged by top ranking Rat Party hacks (The Million Mom March to Flush Rush!).
Contrary to so much opinion, the Rats and libs maybe HAVE learned something - the importance of silencing the opposition when your message sucks and your vision is about as appealing as the view and the smell you have when your next door neighbor is a wastewater treatment plant (and worth about as much as what comes into that plant).
Having said that, so far their efforts to get this story "above the fold" have failed about as miserably as their Nov. 5 "Master Plan" to take control of Congress did.

The Democrats still haven't figured it out Three years ago I dumped my career to raise my kids and join in the ranks of "soccer moms".
What the demos have missed is that their cry is now "It's our kid's security, stupid."
The soccer moms have put the homeless, the old people, the enviroment and every other emotional ploy the demos have been using in the back seat. Their children's safety come first and they feel that the Republicans can do this for them.
I was at a morning coffee a few weeks after 9-11. The major topic of conversation was "I voted for Gore, Thank God Bush won."
It's as though some where in the deep recesses of their mind, they remember klinton and the democrats complaining that Bush 1 spent too much time worrying about international issues and not enough on domestic issues. Pay backs are hell. BBBWWWWAAAHHH!!!!!!!

Al is sounding desperate. I see his books have fallen to below 2,000 and *5,000* (the photo book) on Amazon. So much for his return to the spotlight.

Oh, man, I hope that Drudge isn't putting out an over blown rumor. "Fifth column"? First Daschle, now Gore, heading for self-destruct territory.

Make no mistake. Tom Daschle, McCain, Algore and the rest of them are going after Rush and "talk radio" now for the express purpose of trying to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. And on top of that, they are going to try and expand CFR to include talk radio in an attempt to SHUT DOWN talk radio 60 days out from an election claiming that talk radio is nothing more than political advertisment paid for by the sponsors of the program. Agreed. The champions of free speech can't have all a this free speech goin' on around he-ah!
They will lose, because they are on the side of evil. God point though. Gott watch out for 'em.

Am I wrong but isn't Al's head being wider than it's height?

Gore's been planning and practicing how to be spontaneous for two years now. Think he'll get it right? Kinda like one of those deep sea flounders that lays on the bottom, looking up, and every six months or so jumps up to take a bite at something that swims by.

It was Al Gore who invented the Leonid Meteor showers. I thought he invented the Andromeda Galaxy.
