Snyder is going up against history on two fronts. One I've already mentioned. The other is the fact that Washington has gone 0-4-0 versus Dallas an Thanksgiving Day. But you're right. I do so much enjoy Snyder going through what he's going through in D.C. He has to look at the up-side of all this misery. One day, he will have a team that will have to be dealt with, not just another win on someone else's sked. Dallas went through it and won 3 Lombardi trophys in 4 years so there is hope for the Skins. Can't wait for Thursday, go Cowboys.

It's hard being a Redskins fan right now. Snyder meddles too much.

This comming from a Rams fan with Mike (I needed to address the offensive line but didn't) Martz.

Excuse me but, the 'Skins have had their share of the pie or how quickly we should forget the Joe Gibbs era. Sure, some of Joe's decisions were a little tough to take at times (Thank goodness LT took Joe Theisman out when Gibbs didn't have the guts to do it), and they didn't string their 3 Lombardi trophies together like the 49ers, Steelers and Cowboys but each year they went to the Super Bowl they were every bit as dominant. Thanks to Joe Bugel, they had the greatest offensive line in the history of the game. How else could Mark Rypien, of all people, be the MVP of a Super Bowl?

My only gripe (besides leaving Theisman in when he proved time and time again he couldn't throw a short out in less than one bounce) was that the Babe didn't get a better chance, but alas.... Snyder was a season ticket holder in those years so he was able to enjoy it as a fan. Anything he has done that's gone a little awry can be chalked up to a little overzealousness. His heart is in it for the team.

By the way, the count has already begun. How many times this week are we going to see Clint Longley? Grrrrrrrr....
