I watch Fox News until "Geraldo The Fake" comes on. I would really like to know how he has a job? I know many a person that have sent emails to FNC complaining about him. FNC stopped responding, which would make you think they are flooded with them. Next thing you know, FNC will hire Donahue as his sidekick.

There were also questions about why Kasich decided to leave congress. Well he got married shortly before he decided to retire from Congress. Maybe he just didn't want the stress that running for the U. S. Congress requires to be placed on his newly married life. Can't blame the guy at all for that!

I don't see it as far right at all. It gives a pretty balanced perspective in most of its shows. I rarely watch Greta. She's annoying and by 10:00, I've already watched the news for 4 hours! Enough already.

FOX rules! I watch no other news since my cable company added Fox News a few years ago.Go back and sample CNN every now and then, just to remind you of the real value of FoxNews. A few minutes of their pedestrian sanctimoniousness and you'll be muttering prayers of thanksgiving all over again.
Viva Fox!

A few nights later, I ran into the woman who left the bar with McCain that night. Actually, it appears our friend KLT did some creative editing of his own for this article and inserted McCain in place a Kasich. Check the original article.

I like Kaisch. I'll agree with other posters that he is smart, sharp, hard working, did a great job as head of the budget committee.
The fact that he was a very powerful congressman and in a safe seat, yet he chose to retire pretty much says that everything the author said is untrue about his arrogance, love of power, etc. This is a worthless hit piece.

I guess the left hired a dirt digger that does not own a girlie magazine? Larry Flynt was too much trouble so they went and found a drunk. Oh goodie..........I suppose he will be discussing Chris Dodd and Teddy Kennedy's escapades? Not

What made this guy so bitter? I'm supposed to care who Kasich slept with 20 years ago? And I'm supposed to believe that hanging out with your colleuges can only be about "Drowning guilt?" What a stupid, pointless article.
I don't disagree that Fox has a slant but this is the is just dumb and catty. I reads like something a spurned girlfriend would write.

Creative posting? The original doesn't say so.

Left wing hack? Interesting short term memories around here. Is this not the same Doug Thompson who was praised so widely in the 138 posts to his column on the Nov. 5 elections?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/783559/posts
Is this not the same web site that never let up on Clinton during his eight years in office, exposed his rape of an English girl at Oxford and then found more than a dozen other women who had been sexually harassed by the lecherer in chief?
Is this not the same web site that exposed the many members of Congress with criminal records and shady pasts in the "America's Criminal Class" series a couple of years ago?
You can call Doug Thompson and Capitol Hill Blue many things: Maddening, infuriating and always thought-provoking but "left wing?" Get real.
I'm a long time reader of Thompson and have posted many of his columns and reporting on this site. One thing I have learned over the years is that he doesn't play favorities. He doesn't cut any slack for Democrats, Republicans, Livertarians, Conservatives, Centrists or Liberals. He is a throwback to the old days of journalism when newspapermen saw it as their duty "to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable."
I like that but then I consider his writingas a whole before passing judgment. Too bad others here don't.

no one could think of a single piece of memorable legislation that bore his name during his time on the Hill I'd rather have a good congressman voting against bad legislation than one a writer of bad legislation who blackmails others to vote for it.

I think he and his wife had twins in the last year or so! Another good reason to spend more time at home!

"Doug thompson is obviously full of cr*p, and probably an out-and-out liar as well."And how do YOU know??
Kasich can always try suing Thompson for slander if it's all BS. But I'd assume it's ALL true -- our prima donna politicians just think they're God at times.
To: MattAMiller
"I'm supposed to care who Kasich slept with 20 years ago?...What a stupid, pointless article."Really?? That yet another one of our legislator's main priorities while "serving" in office was wine, women and hawking influence, instead of doing the work of the people? Apparently Bill Clinton was only doing what some of you people consider "irrelevant" to his actual "job" as well.
To: KLT
Fox News, the upstart conservative news channelThat's BS. Fox is not conservative, they are actually balanced. Colmes would not last a day under a conservative umbrella. And if someone thinks O'Reilly is conservative, I'd put them on the list for a head-check. Unlike CNN which runs out losers like Carlson, Fox has serious Leftists to debate the conservatives. All of a sudden a balanced channel that presents both sides is labeled conservative.
To: San Jacinto
Doug thompson is obviously full of cr*p, and probably an out-and-out liar as well. Well, I don't know about that, but he IS an asshole, IMO. He has a "conservative" discussion forum at his site that is so tightly moderated, he insists that the posters not dis liberals. In other words, Hillary must be referred to as "Hillary."
All very civil and phony.
Boring, too.

"I remember there was a lot of talk about Kasich and Condit and their relationship. There were also questions about why Kasich decided to leave congress. Maybe his wild ways catching up with him?" I heard that too. I expect the 'little lady' and the kids laid down the law.
