In Raleigh, N.C., one person's leg was broken and two people suffered knee injuries on the field when fans tore down goal posts following North Carolina State's 17-7 victory over No. 14 Florida State.Suffered knee injuries? What'd they do? Scrape their knees? What's wrong with tearing down the goalposts after the game? People have been doing it for years!! Granted, we tried to do it 8 seconds before the game ended, but heck it was Florida State!!
Hey CD, how about that PACK!!

Of course, also fair credit should be given to Carolina. The cheese and wine crowd did their best to end up in the ACC cellar but Duke wouldn't let them!!

What's wrong with tearing down the goalposts after the game? Several reasons. First, there are almost always a number of serious injuries in the attempt. Second, goal posts are very expensive these days. It's not like the old days, when goal posts were just three poles (that's wooden poles, not Polish people) fastened together.

What's wrong with tagging your house, people have been graphitizing private property for years?!
It's vandalism, that's what's wrong with it.

but heck it was Florida State!! We understand, the novelty of winning and all. No hard feelings from the 'Noles. Frankly, an occasional loss keeps us humble and is acceptable from anyone but the GATORS!

Wasn't NCSU banned from playing in their own stadium several years ago for similar behavior? Was it an EZU game?

Heck yeah! I was there, working the Army ROTC concession stand. My girlfriend and I caught the last 10 minutes or so of the game and watched as the entire field filled up with people tearing down one goalpost. The sheriff's deputies and event personnel on-hand tried to block them from the other one but to no avail. Normally I cringe at such boorish displays, but it was one heluva game.
