President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Maybe it's just me, but putting out a book at this particular time that states that Donald Rumsfeld and G.H.W. Bush were not on good terms, is not exactly what I'd define as neutral.

I have it too. I have been pleasantly suprised since everything I had been reading about was not good. However, it looks to like the left have picked out things and have twisted their meaning. Woodward seems to have a grudging respect for Bush.

My guess would be 50,000, No matter what the count was, That was a huge crowd, and they were there in the rain waving "Old Glory" as if it was their own.
Last night rintense posted this pic below of a Czech soldier saluting our Commander-in-Chief, That is an incredible show of respect for our President

>>>>>I did learn something I didn't know before reading it. Rumsfeld and GHW Bush were not friends to say the least>>>
I would question this. I would like to see more evidence on it. I am not saying it is not possible but then why have we never heard about it before.

WOw, guys. Think about it. We are so used to seeing tons and tons of people come out to see our president, but think about --- if tony blair came to give a speech--or Putin, or any of these guys---can you imagine 100,000 americans coming out to see him?? That is really something to think about--the star power of our president. I think he is totally magnetic.

He didn't make a big deal of it, but he definately planted the seed in his book, wheather it's true or not I don't know, But so far, I would give the book high ratings.

Actually Mike is right. I am reading the book as well and am impress with it. I expected a Bush Bashing book and was suprised when it wasn't. I know Woodward is a liberal but I think he is impressed with Bush none the less.

Yes, Geraldo may be a liberal but he does not hide his respect for Bush.

Good point. I don't think 100,000 of our citizenry would come out for that.....
Now THAT'S somethin' to think about.
To: MJY1288
Estimates are being given on some news sites as more than 50,000 people
